y/n couldn't believe what she was hearing. she felt her whole world was falling apart. she stared at the boy across from her. he stared as intensely as she did but his heart was pounding in his chest. nervously he puts his hand out.
she felt so conflicted but grasped his hand in her soft hands but calloused fingertips. she shakes her head in disbelief and hugs him. they hug in the middle of the dance room. her grip on him tightened a bit but it was comforting. he releases her and turns on the radio. she smiles fondly and he says softly "just dance with me before anything might stop us"
what they never expect will pile up and crash down at some point in time but for now they dance together. standing close and moving together like this happened before. it did but this time it wasn't only just a dream but reality.
