as soon as the bell rang throughout the school, every door slams open. every student in the school rushed to quickly get out of the place they call "hell hole". y/n was being pulled by lucy to exit the school that was teaching them useless things for their future. ji woo was with her other friends that were a year above them. ji woo just waved a bye to lucy and y/n and when lucy was looking away, ji woo gave y/n a quick hug before lucy looked back at them.

lucy was just happy that she got to spend time with y/n and get her plan in to action. she grabbed y/n's hand and exclaimed happily "we should go to the cafe close by. i swear the pastries there are to die for!" y/n just smiled at lucy's cute actions and just let lucy lead her to the bakery. lucy opens the door and just told y/n to find a seat and she'd order for them (lucy already asked what y/n wanted). while waiting for lucy, y/n just got her notebook out and continued to write the song she's been working on recently.

while y/n was working on her song, lucy looked at her from the counter and felt guilty because of her plan but remembered the reason why and just shook it off. y/n was kind and gentle with everything around her but she was also very clumsy at times. she always meant well and always had good intentions in mind. her parents weren't very supportive of what she wants to do but she wouldn't even listen to their sermons anyways. her number one supporters are her younger siblings that is her looks exactly like her when she was younger.

they were twins and their names' are noah and naomi. they always sang and danced along with her and always told y/n that she would be the "bestest singer ever." she always helped them adapt to their changing environment and helped them with their classes that they couldn't really understand. she really loved them and would try her best to show a good example to them and help them with whatever they needed. for christ sake, the people who go to her school is either rich, talented, or smart.

y/n was unsure of the entrance exam since, there's 80% chance of her failing because, of where she came from but, not the school she's from. she was from a private and "international" school that she absolutely despise. the school lied to a LOT of parents or guardians that it was a international school but in reality, they were just monitored by one. she shakes those minor details off her back and continue with the present and focus on her studies and work on her dreams to make them a reality and prove everyone who didn't support or believe in her. she only works with the opportunities she's given and makes sure to give it her all.

lucy came back with the food and cute smile was placed on her face while her hair framed her face beautifully.

y/n's pov

lucy's piercing eyes go through me and the air in my chest was immediately knocked out of me once, i saw lucy. i had feelings for lucy despite only knowing her for 3 weeks. everything felt so fast-paced in these couple of weeks and it's just like i just met lucy and ji woo yesterday. it felt really weird  for me to have feelings for someone already. this wasn't the first time i liked a girl but, that's a story for another time.

she sat across from me and gave me my red velvet cake and (d/n) [it means drink name]. she had a blueberry muffin and iced coffee. the way her eyes light up as she takes a bite of her muffin made my heart swell. i take a bite of my cake and subconsciously hum at the delicious taste. we talk about the things we did today and do our homework together.

two hours pass and we decided to walk around the park nearby and talk a little bit more. despite only knowing her for two weeks, my heart drums against my chest loudly, butterflies erupt in my stomach, my mouth gets dry. i know that i'm not in love especially after i had just got out of a relationship before i left my home country. it's even stupid to think about it at this point and time because we've only just met two weeks ago. i shake my head at thought and tell myself to get to know her more and actually see if she likes girls and if she does then i'll consider the option of dating her.

lucy checks her phone and her eyes go wide in shock and she stays still for a good five seconds. she realizes and immediately tells me " i have to go now y/n. my parents will kick my ass if i don't go right now." we hug and she quickly walks away and I just wave goodbye to her. she stops and exclaims "before i forget." she turns back and comes back to me and kisses my cheek and waves goodbye and runs off to her house.

i hold my cheek and my heart kept drumming against my chest and the butterflies in my stomach was released from their cage. i shake myself out of it and walk to my house. i open the door to be welcomed by my cat rubbing against my leg and my puppy jumping happily. i expected my siblings to go down and give me a hug ,they always did that when she gets home, so she investigates and wander into the kitchen to see a neon pink sticky note on the fridge. i read it and it said "don't worry about us honey. we just went to shop for our guests tomorrow and the twins will sleepover with one of their friends. just go in the fridge and just reheat the food. don't worry about me and your dad. p.s is my hangul improving??"

author's pov

y/n shakes her head with a small smile gracing her beautiful features and just went on to reheat the food her parents left her. she is completely clueless to the new chapter of her life opening right in front of her. revealing all it's flaws and downsides to the amazing things that would change her life forever and make her life change. it's too early to talk about the possibilities that could happen and focus on the present. it's up to you ,the reader, to interpret my words and find the most unexpected answers i would give you. the things y/n will choose to do may seem stupid and illogical will make sense as the chapters progress. poor
y/n, unaware and naive to things that will happen until then i will not comment any further and let you enjoy.
