I threw my crossbody on the bed and headed to the bathroom to change. After completing my night routine, I plopped myself onto the bed, put my crossbody on the table and pulled the covers on me.
"Is something wrong, sweetie?", Alex asked, kissing my forehead.
"No, I'm just tired. Nothing happened. Everything's fine. I'm ok." I replied frustrated.
Alex pulled the covers off me and kinda forced me to sit up. I looked down, not meeting his gaze.
"Sophia, what's wrong? Did I say something.", he asked concerned.
"It's not something you said, it's something you DID!" I half screamed and half said.
"Huh?", he said giving me his dumb perplexed face.
"Am I not enough for you that you have to "chat" with other woman?" I growl.
"What do you mean?", he asked calmly.
"Don't you think I notice the way you flirt with all those girls? You're married, stop being a flirt!" I shriek.
"I don't flirt with them, it's called chatting!", he shouted.
"As if", I replied rolling my eyes.
"Sophia, let me tell you two things that you have to get used to, because I'll never change them. One, get used to the fact that I'm a social person, not an introvert and I enjoy meeting new people. Second, whatever I do shouldn't effect you in any way because I'm perfect. I'm proud of everything I say and do, so you're opinion doesn't matter to me. You can never go ahead of me in looks or success.", he said coldly.
"You're so full of yourself", I mutter under my breath and go to sleep.I wake up and see Alex combing his hair. He notices me and chirps,
"Good morning sleeping beauty"
"Good morning", I groan.
"Where are you going, it's Sunday?", I ask.
"I'm going to meet Winnie, she and I agreed for some catching up" he replied.
"But she's your ex!" I whine.
"We "used" to date. That's a thing of the past. We're just friends now.", saying that he went out.
"I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS MAN, HOW DARE HE!", I screamed in thought.
There's two types of people:
Type one, if they're angry they punch the wall or break a vase or something.
Type two, if they're angry they breakdown crying.
Guess what! I'm type two🤦🏻♀️
So I sat there in bed, half asleep, half sobbing. After letting out my anger by drowning my pillow in tears, I got dressed and head downstairs for breakfast.
After having a delicious breakfast, I went over to Annie's.Don't get me wrong, Annie's my bff and she means sooooo much to me, but I'm not sure if I should share stuff like this :/
Anyways, I went to her house and rang her doorbell like 29753157890 times! No one answered and I stood there for what felt like an eternity.
Then Kyle came out from his house "You're here to see Annie?", he said in confusion.
"Yeah, but she's not opening the door", I replied kinda worried.
"She didn't tell you? She left in a hurry last night, her mother's friend is In the icu"
And that's when it hit me.
"Oh.... yeah I remembered, I totally forgot", I replied face palming.
He started laughing, "that's cute", he mumbled.
"What? I didn't hear you properly" , even though I heard exactly what he said.
His cheeks went all pink and he started fidgeting with his hands. "I....uh.......nothing",
he said nervously.
I giggled and rolled my eyes, "See you around dude, peace", then I sat in my car and drove away.
