Officially Us (Gruvia Fanfic)

A/N: Hello! It's been years since this FF got published and I decided only recently to edit it and correct the grammatical errors. To the new readers, this story uses a Third Person POV. And there also won't be any exposure of their magic in this story because it focuses on the romance. I hope you enjoy until the end!

"GRAY-SAMAAAA~~" Juvia excitedly shouted while running towards Gray, who just came from a mission, and received quite a shock from Juvia's sudden shouting.

"Oh, Juvia," he said as she saw her running towards him.

Oomf! And there goes Juvia, who hugged him so tight that he almost couldb't breathe. "Juvia, let-- me-- go! I can't breathe!" he exclaimed. Juvia's sudden realization made her let go.

"How was your mission, Gray-sama?" Juvia asked with sparkle in her dark blue eyes, filled with excitement. Just looking at her right now really shows how much she missed Gray, who was gone for 5 days because of his mission.

"I guess it went well. I have encountered some pests on the way but it was nothing, really," said Gray, trying to be as calm as ever. Actually, he has always been kind to Juvia but when she becomes extra nosy, sometimes he can't help but feel annoyed.

"Ah! Gray-sama encountered some problems on the way? Juvia won't forgive them!" Juvia growled as she played an imaginary scene in her head where Gray was being tortured by the so-called pests, and Gray shouting for help looking so helpless, which enraged her. Really, Juvia's imagination is something.

Gray, who was getting a little bit annoyed said, "No. I told you it's al-"

"It's unforgivable, Gray-sama! How about you take Juvia with you on your next mission? Juvia will protect you! Juvia won't be a nuisance!" Juvia said, full of hope. Juvia really did miss Gray, didn't she? Gray has been on a mission before that took a long time, but Natsu, Erza or Lucy has always been with him. Sometimes she follows him secretly. That's why Juvia has been so restless and worried these past 5 days because Gray went alone on a long and dangerous mission.

However, Gray, getting annoyed at Juvia but somehow trying to understand her, thinks that if he lets Juvia go with him, it'll be a lot more stressful for him. It'll be more dangerous, too. "No Juvia. I can't let you do so," Gray rejected.

"But Gray-samaaaa..." Juvia cried. Gray averted his eyes towards her out of annoyance. His eyes went to the table where Lucy, Erza, and Natsu were sitting while watching the two of them.

When he was about to leave Juvia and go to his team's table, Juvia's face suddenly brightened because of her sudden realization. She thought, Gray-sama is worried about Juvia! Gray-sama cares for Juvia! Maybe Gray-sama was scared to lose Juvia on a mission.. because! Because! Because Gray-sama loves Juvia, too!

"Gray-sama!" Juvia pulled Gray by his coat. Gray really looked annoyed but listened to her anyway.

"What?" he answered.

"H-How about you take Juvia on a date?" Juvia asked hopefully with rosy cheeks.

"Hah? Why should I?" Gray asked furiously, he's seriously starting to be even more annoyed now.

"You have to make it up for Juvia! Juvia was so worried for Gray-sama, you know!" Juvia cried.

"I don't think I have to do that!" Gray unknowingly raised his voice a little.
