a/n: listen I know these past chapters have been really bad but I have some really good ideas coming up

There Eddie was, in richies arms, there's nowhere he'd rather be. Then to his shock he heard a car drive up through the driveway. "shit shit shit" Eddie repeated as he sat up and ran to the window. "what? what's going on Eddie?" richie was confused, he had no idea why the smaller boy was jumping around the living room trying to tidy everything up. "Listen to me rich, come upstairs" Eddie blurted our "what-why?" "JUST FOLLOW ME" Eddie practically screamed, dragging richie by the arms into his room. "Eddie bear, I'm home!" The boys heard coming from downstairs. Eddie took hold of richies shoulders and whispered "stay right here, I'll be back soon I'm sorry" richie just nodded in agreement as Eddie quickly scampered downstairs whilst shouting "coming mommy" And there richie was, just standing in the middle of eddies room, he decided to use this time to his advantage to find out some of eddies interests. he came across a vinyl with the bands 'artic monkeys, weezer, calpurnia' and a few other singers. richie stared in admiration of the boys music taste. He could hear the murmurs from downstairs, stuff like "oh I just couldn't leave my Eddie bear all alone" and "what have you eaten since I've been gone?" That kind of stuff. All Eddie could think about was getting back upstairs to richie. He wasn't even listening to his mom, he was too busy listening to his heart humming a tune about richie tozier and how amazing and perfect he was. His mom finally stopped talking and sat down, taking up the whole couch to watch some TV. "Okay, bye mommy' Eddie ran upstairs trying to be as quiet as he could. He got back to his room to see richie walking around and staring at his movie posters. Richie was startled and turned around to see Eddie standing at the door, staring back at him with a disappointed look on his face. "Hey Eds, everything okay?" Eddies face just got sadder. "I-I'm sorry rich I didn't k-know she'd be home so e-early" poor Eddie was all richie could think of. Without hesitation richie just walked over and gave him a hug. His mouth repeating the words "hey, it's okay" and "it's fine, really" but Eddie was just so upset that he couldn't have one thing to himself. One thing. After about two minutes of Eddie sobbing into Richie's shoulder, Richie separated them both and smiled down at Eddie who just stared back at him with a dorky grin. Richie walked over to his vinyl player and played the song 'I can't handle change' by roar. Eddie smiled softly as Richie held out his hand as an invitation to dance. He chuckled and took his hand. The two boys just slowly danced around the centre of eddies room until the last of the song where it goes 'for no reason at all' and Richie pulled Eddie in until both their hips were touching and Richie whispered down at eddie "eds.." . They were both staring at each others lips, noses brushing off eachother. They were almost kissing- almost.
Then richie pulls away, leaving Eddie standing there. Breathless. Richie walks over to eddies window leaving Eddie staring at him in shock, anger maybe. "Until next time eds"
