Chapter Six

Sam's POV

We were in his car when Nathan finally broke the silence. I was still in shock after Minerva fired me. Paano na ako nito?

"Hey...." Then he held my hand now resting on my lap.

I smiled. "Hey..." At hinigpitan nya ang hawak sa kamay ko. Inilapit nya pa yun sa labi nya para halikan. Just that small gesture made me feel terribly hot and.... Wet? Damn, Samantha. It was just a kiss.

"I thought you're not speaking to me anymore." He did this smile that made me even uneasy, sitting here next to him feels so right and wrong at the same time.

"It would take so much more than having fired by your grandmother, believe me." I can still smile even though I don't know what will happen to me. Yung apartment. Damn. San na ako titira?

"I know you have a lot going on in your mind right now, but...." He moved my hands near his lap. "Baby, if we don't do this now, I'll explode." I can't see myself but I am sure as hell I'm blushing. I know what he meant, kasi ako din, I want him. I can feel his hardness at the back of my hand. It feels so right.

I, too, know what he wants. No, I need it. I need him. The only thing that makes me sane after all the things that's going on. I might lose my sanity. "Then what are we waiting for?" He smiled my favorite smile, then he started the car and drove like crazy.

We were roughly 5 minutes away from his building when I realized something. "Nathan!" I screamed.

"What the?!" He abruptly stopped the car at the emergency bay. "Are you hurt? Anong nangyari?" He even removed his seat belt to look after me.

"I'm fine, I just remembered, baka pwede naman akong dumaan sa apartment ko to fix myself. Look at me!" Saka ko naalala na wala pa akong ligo. Wearing the same clothes since yesterday. I'm sure as hell I smell like sh*t.

"Seriously? Yun lang? I don't fvcking care if you still wear the same clothes yesterday, baby. Hindi yun ang itatabi ko sa kama. You are. And by the way, yes, I am looking at you and you look sexy as hell." He started the car again. Now with a little more faster than he drove ten seconds ago.

"Come on, Nathan. Napakalapit lang ng apartment ko. I can shower for 3 minutes and you won't even notice. Pretty please?" I used my ever teasing tone. Di ko sure kung teasing yun or it sounded as if I was pained. He smiled.

"Now it's too late baby, now it's too late." He sang. He has this wonderful voice, soothing and husky. He sounded like a grown man though he's in his late twenties. I was looking at him, listening to his voice when we stopped. "Kasi we're already home." I looked outside. Yes, we are home. Ang bilis ng biyahe, and looking at him made me forget why we stopped a while ago.

He got out of the car and when I was about to open the door, he was there, opening it for me. "I don't let the girl I rode the car with open her own door for her. I'm better than you think I am, Sam." He looked sad. I bet he's teasing. I let him open the door for me and I stepped out, only to see Graham, looking just as shocked realizing I'm in the car with Nathan. Still wearing the clothes I wore yesterday. I pinched Nathan and he laughed.

"Good morning, Mr. Saavedra, Ms. Perez." Graham said after a minute or so.

"Good morning, Graham." I said, Nathan just nodded and smiled. Inabot nya ang susi kay Graham at tuluyan na kaming pumasok sa building.

Pagsara pa lang ng elevator, nagsalita na ako. "Tingnan mo! Even Graham knows I still wore the same clothes! Nakakainis ka!" Hinampas ko sya ng paulit ulit hanggang sa humarap sya sa akin.
