"Amy, you're gonna be late!" I heard my mom yell from the kitchen. I laugh at the fact that she always thinks I'm still asleep.

Today is my first day at Sliders High and I'm gonna admit, I'm a little nervous.

But I shake off all those negative thoughts and smile brightly in the mirror. Proud of my outfit.

I was wearing a short, high waisted skirt covered with orange butterflies and a white shirt. I had a brown belt aroun my waist and my Black Converse.

I sighed as I put the butterfly pin in my hair and smiled at the mirror once again.

Today is a gift.

I grab my back pack and take in a deep breath before skipping down stairs.

The smell of crispy bacon and eggs filled the aroma as I entered the kitchen.

The smell of ground coffee beens got mixed into the scent of breakfast and I inhaled.

"That smells amazing mom." I smile at her. She takes a sip from her coffee mug and she smiles when she sees my outfit.

"Wow I'm proud of myself." She states while looking me up and down. I blush and walk over to her.

I give her a kiss on the forehead and grab a burnt toast that my mom put to the side and I walk out of the kitchen.

"Bye Mom, love you!" I shout as I walk out of the door. She yells at me to be carefully and I smile. I take a bite of the toast and throw it in the garbage can outside of my house.

I put in my headphones amd start walking to the school. It was only about a minute minutes away in car, so by foot it was a good 3 minutes.

I walked and walked until eventually, I was surrounded by people. I looked up at the schools and.

Wow.

The walls where cracked and faded. The bricks where a scary shade of russet, brown, and red. To the side, you could see a bunch of graffiti.

I love it!

It's so vintage and has its own vibe to it. I just love it. I smile and skip to the office.

As I open the door, I hit someone on accident, causing them to drop all their books.

I gasp loudly and my first instinct is to kneel down and help him.

"I'm so sorry. Here i-" i look up and my breath catches on my throat as I see the most gorgeous human in my life.

He had strait black hair sticking up and I noticed a strand of purple in it, almost fading away.

His eyes are a mixture of gray, green, and brown. If you want me to simplify, you could easily say that they are hazel.

I look down and he is wearing a white cutoff short with black, skinny, ripped jeans. I look back up to see him glaring at me.

I get up and hand him his books, giving him my million dollar smile. I stick out my hand for him to shake.

"I'm Amethyst Tourmaline though I do prefer Amy." I smile at him. He looks at my hand but doesn't do anything.

I put my hand behind my back when I realise yes not gonna shake it. He walks past em and my eyes follow him.

"Well it was nice meeting you!" I shout out as he closes the office door. I let out a breath and head to the front desk.

"Hey honey, how may I help you?" The man at behind the desk asks.

He has thin white hair. He has one brown eye and the other is blue. He has a red line starting at his right temple, down to his chin.
