"Hey." I greet him as I skip down the driveway. He looks up at me and continues to walk.

He was wearing a white cutoff under a navy blue jacket and light blue ripped jeans. He was wearing black Converses.

"Looks like we're matching again." I smiled up at him. He looked down and saw that I was wearing my black converse too.

I was wearing a tight, neon green t-shirt with leggings. My hair was pulled back in in a high ponytail. And to sign off my design, I had on my black converse.

"So what'd you eat for breakfast?" I randomly ask. He just keeps on walking with his hands gripping his backpack straps.

Keep the conversation going.

"Well, I had some cereal with a cookie." I said. I reached into the plastic bag and noticed I still had a cookie.

I handed him the cookie, but, like always, he shakes his head and keeps on looking forward.

I grab his hand from his backpack while I laugh.

"No really, here. It took me and my mom some time to make them. We still have like a dozen left." I say.

He flinched from me touching his hand but he recovers in a second.

He grabs the cookie. He looks at it as he's trying to figure out what type of cookie it is.

"I like to call it a chocolate stuffed cookie. I mean, that's technically what it is. So it like, has the crunchy cookie outside, but it has melted chocolate in the middle." I inform him.

"Aaand I'm blabbering again. I'm sorry." I say while I tight a stand of loose hair behind my ear.

I look over to him and he's looking at the cookie. He's debating on wether or not to eat it.

"It's really good. Here, take a bite." I put the cookie closer to his mouth. He looks at me for a second and then takes a bite of the cookie.

1....2.....3

His eyes widen.

Yes!

He rolls his eyes to the back of his head while he choose on the gooey deliciousness.

That came out wrong...

Anyway,

He lets out a breath and and bites into the cookie again. He chews and chews and I can tell he loves it.

"It's good right?" I ask with a giggle. He looks at me and nodded his head. I reach back into my bag and realise I have three more.

I get two and hand him another one. I bite into mine and it's really good. The chocolate is nice and warm, while the cookie itself is crunchy and chewy.

Oh God I love myself.

"So what are you gonna draw today?" I ask while we both finish the cookie. He shrugs and shakes his head.

"You should draw like...a broken hourglass with numbers flying out of it." I suggest.

He looks up considering it. Though, he never responded. We reached school and he walked away without saying anything.

"I'll see you later!"no yell. He continues walking without turning around. I sigh and walk to class.

I've known him for a while and I still don't know his name. I don't understand..who could I ask.

Grayson.

I run to class.

I jump into a bunch of people and I apologise. I ran into class and find Grayson sitting in the back fidiling with the eraser I gave him.
