I took my bag out of the plane that was a suit in disguise in case of a real emergency and dad makes me carry it anyways in case I'm in danger.
We arrived in Washington since dad had to appear in court.
"Dad please play nice and listen. I don't want to get on the government bad side even more." I said as we were about to go in.
"I'll give it a 12% shot." He said as the doors open and he made his way down while I went and sat next Pepper.

"Oh Peps, this is gonna either go bad or really bad."
"I know but we did the best we could." Dad looked back at us as they were trying to ask him a question and we both made the turn around gesture.
"Mr. Stark do you or do you not possess a specialized weapon?"
"I do not. Well it depends on how you define weapon."
"The weapon of Iron Man"
"My invention is not well described."

"How would you describe yourself?"

"I would describe how to define what is truly an advanced prostheses. This is the best description I can do." I looked at Pepper and she looked at me.

"It is a weapon, Mr. Stark hate to tell you. My priority is that the iron man gets turned over to the people of the United States."

"Well you can forget it. I am Iron Man. Suit and I are one. The delivering of the Iron Man suit would mean that I surrender. Which is similar to slavery, depending about the same state prostitution." Everyone in the courtroom started to chuckle.

"Look, I'm not an expert." The Senator stated before being cut off. "In prostitution, as is thought a Senator, please. Come on!" Dad said as he looked back at us and Pepper and I shook our heads. The Senator then continued. "I am not a weapons expert. We brought a weapons expert. I would call our Dustin Hammer today's top weapons contractor."

"Let it be recorded that I see Mr. Hammer entered the chamber. And I wonder when the rest will arrive with this  weapons expert who speaks." Dad said.

"Absolutely yes, I'm not an expert, is Anthony. Senator, if I may. I may not be an expert, you know who was the expert? Your dad Howard Stark. A father to us all for the entire military industrial age. But it must be clear that he was no flower child, he was a lion. We all know why we're here. In the last 6 months Tony Stark has created a weapon with many possibilities and yet He insists it is a shield. He asks us to trust him as we cower behind it. I wish I was comforted Anthony, I really do. I like to leave my door unlocked when I leave the house, but this isn't Canada. But never where we live a world full of threats. When Mr. Stark does not have the ability to predict. Thank you, God bless Iron Man and America." Hammer went to sit down and I looked at Pepper.

"Hey, I'm not feeling ok. I'm gonna go stand in the back." Pepper got up and looked at me. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah just a lot of people." I went past here and stood towards the doors in the back.

"Very well said Mr. Hammer. The committee now invites the Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes for the camera."

"Rhodey?" Dad said as Rhodey walked in the door beside me and gave me a hug and walked up to dad.

"I have here a complete report of the Iron Man, compiled by Colonel Rhodes. Colonel for the record can you please read section 4 on page 57." said the Senator.

"Your specific request is for me to read parts of my report of the senator? I was told it was going to testify more comprehensive and detailed."

"There were changes, I understand Mr. Rhodes now read it. Thank you."

" It does not operate in any one branch. Iron Man present a potential threat to the security of both the nation and their interests, but I did however go and summarize  that the benefits of Iron Man far outweigh its potential risks." The Senator tried to cut him off Rhodey continued while dad tried to argue too. Until the Senator finally said enough and moved on.
