Encre's POV
I kept asking about his and Charlos' talk, but he refused to answer. I went to see Charlos to ask him, but I noticed something..... off. He had bandages wrapped around his head. So I'm going off task to ask him. "Charlos... why are there bandages around your head?" I asked. As I said that he immediately looked a bit uncomfortable. He even started to pull at his neck collar. "I-it's Okay is you don't feel comfortable with sharing, I'll just leave" I said while walking away, but then he said. "N-No I'll tell you, just promise you won't feel pity for me." I don't know why he asked that. Maybe he thought pity made people weak. He sighed and told me to sit down. I had a feeling it was gonna be a long night.
~Flashback~
In Charlos' POV
I was just wondering around town on my own as usual, until I saw Eterna.
She had something shiny that got my interest so I tried to steal it from her, but she immediately caught my hand.
I tried to get away but she was grabbing me firmly, so I had no choice but to transform into a bat and fly away, which pretty much blew my cover, so Eterna took one of her knives and threw it on me, cutting me slightly in the head and making me fall down and back again to my original form. Luckily Jasper, who was passing by with Suave, saw what's going on and ran to the rescue without informing Suave butler
He grabbed me and held me in his arms and ran away as fast as the wind, but we got cornered and ended up hiding.

Fortunately, Suave, who noticed Jasper's absence, looked for him untill he found Eterna looking for us while we where hiding, so he went up to her and told her that he saw us passing by in another direction, she thanked him and left.
We then got home where I could be healed.

Encre's POV
I was shocked to here this. Charlos didn't deserve this. Even if he was a vampire and tried to steal from Eterna. No one deserves that. "What happened when you got back?" I swear I could see Charlos blush slightly.
"Well when I got there...."

Charlos: H-Hey get off me! Why are you crying?

I then punched Fibi and walked away... but a thought hit me.

Once again I was shocked, who wouldn't be worried. But promised to not show pity. I said thank you to Charlos and went to bed.
