Ways of the Tiger

As the man grabbed Midoriya's body when he fell, he decided to take him in as his disciple and nurse his injuries. When Izuku woke up, he began to panic knowing that he was not dead or at his home.

Izuku: Wha-Where am I?! Is this.. A..

Jago: A Temple.. Yes. You jumped off a roof and I was the one that caught you before your near death experience. I sensed a strong willed spirit within you, Young one. Tell me what is your name?

Izuku: I-Izuku Midoriya sir..

Jago: Midoriya.. Tell me what made you want to commit suicide. *sits in a lotus position *

Izuku: Uh, sure mister...

Jago: Jago.. Grandmaster Jago. Please, begin.

As Midoriya explains to the legendary grandmaster of the Tiger Spirit, Jago was awed and shocked to hear that his former best friend and childhood Bakugou was bullying Izuku but attacking him all because he did not have a quirk. And then All Might told Midoriya's dreams is a good one but had to think in reality by being a police officer. Jago could understand why All Might said what he said, but he knew that Izuku had what it takes to be a hero.

Jago: Midoriya, why don't I train you in the ways of the Tiger Spirit and self enlightenment?

Izuku: But I'm quirkless..

Jago: Izuku, You are not quirkless. I can tell you want to be a greater hero but also I can sense that you want to better yourself and find the true you. You will carry on my powers of the Tiger Spirit! You will train here for 10 months. Can you do it, Midoriya?

Izuku: *smiling softly and then a determined look in his eyes* Yes! I will do it. I will train here and then become a hero!

Jago: Good. Your training will start tomorrow morning. Now, get some rest.

Izuku: Hai! *goes back to the guest room of Jago's Temple and into the bed*

As Izuku was asleep in the home of Jago, All Might was determined to give Bakugou One For All after showing how powerful the ash blonde was. He knew for sure that he made the right choice of passing the torch of OFA to Katsuki Bakugou. But then he realized that the kid with green hair remind him of how he wanted to be a hero just like him without a quirk. But it was too late. Possibly Midoriya took this to heart and look into reality like he said.

Month 1- Izuku began learning how to use a weapon. It was a Japanese Katana sword. But as he touch the blade, Izuku felt a strange glow to it as Jago noticed the sword accepted Midoriya.

Jago Thinking: 'Amazing! The Katana sword has accepted Izuku as his own. If he's capable of maintaining control of the power of the Tiger Spirit, he has to seek true enlightenment just like I did. *looks at Midoriya putting the sheath on him and place the sword inside *

Jago: Do you know any basic hand to hand combat skills?

Izuku: No. Why?

Jago: For now, you will learn the Tiger style Kung Fu arts as well as many others. Tell me, when does this Entrance Exams starts?

Izuku: Ten months from now.

Jago: Good. Are you prepared for the hard training?

Izuku: yes sir!

As time went by, Midoriya's body changed over the courses and his mind was much at ease. He developed his style of the Tiger Spirit Kung fu to a degree that Jago began to spar with him. Over the five months, Jago decided to teach Izuku the Endokuken, Tiger Fury, and Wind kick. Jago was proud of his student who was now going to Be the keeper of the Tiger Spirit and live his dreams of becoming a hero. Izuku was now 5'8" tall and was now covered in tattoos of the Tiger Spirit showing respect to his master and teacher. He now wears the same uniform Jago wore when he was 23.

A/N: This will be his hero costume until the Hero Killer Stain Arc.

Bakugou was training his new quirk. After All Might saw his talents, he gave Bakugou One For All after the explosive teen cleaned up the Dagoh Bah Municipal Beach. This made Bakugou more cockier and more arrogant than he was before. He wonder where Deku was so he can make his life worse than it was before.

Izuku was meditating conjuring his Tiger Spirit within him as Jago pointed out. Ever since Jago saved Midoriya, Izuku was grateful and appreciative for Jago to take him in. Jago left a note to Izuku's mother Inko stating 'Dear ms. Midoriya, I am here to inform you that your son is okay. He is training at my dojo in the ways of the Tiger Spirit. He will come back to you in ten months for his Entrance Exams. Please do not worry about your son. He will be fine as he is bettering himself and his fears.'

Inko: My baby boy.. I just hope you don't get hurt, please.

During the ten months of training, Izuku's hair have grown long but it was still curly. His whole Ideal and personality changed to a stoic and calm young man who now possesses the power of the Tiger Spirit Jago once wield.

Jago: You have successfully gotten better since I took you in to my temple. Now go. Fulfill your dreams and always carry out Spirit of the Tiger.

Izuku: Thank you Master Jago. I am now ready to face my destiny and become a hero.

All Might: Young Bakugou, Good luck to your journey in the Entrance Exams!

Bakugou: Tch! Whatever. I'm going to blow those extras away and then become the number one hero!

All Might Thinking: 'Young Midoriya's probably is at a normal school and I hope he is not mad at me for telling him the truth. But it had to be what it had to be.'

Little does All Might know, Izuku was coming back from Tibet after being trained under Jago in the ways of the Tiger Spirit is now determined to become a hero despite not having a powerful quirk. His eyes tells the story of Izuku's Transformation and his desires to be a hero.
