She followed behind James as they went to his room, she had no idea what she was doing but this man brought out the worst in her and it felt good. Shutting the door behind him. His room looked more personal then the other hotel rooms picture hung on the walls and the furniture looked dated "Nice room. Its dark in here, I like it" She said looking at the pattern on the wall. James turned form the phone that he was calling Miss Evers from"Yes i seem to quite like it myself" he smiled at the girl, she looked at the smaller things and he admired that. After he ended his phone call with Miss Evers he turned to her "Now my dear we are only minutes away from seeing you reach your full potential." "What dose that even mean?" She asked walking towards him  "I have a little present being brought for you, I believe you are destined for greatness like I was before you and now I will tech you everything I know to make you become one of the grates." "So ill be your like protege?" She asked crossing her arms  "Exactly" He said taking the final step before they where inches apart. They didn't speak for a moment just looked into each other eyes Chills ran threw her spine as she looked into his deep brown eyes "Um, you still haven't told me what you will be teaching me." He gave her a wicked smile as he looked into her eyes, he began circling around her, one of his hands stayed on her body as his finger tip gliding over her collar bone. "In your black heart of hearts, you know, you can feel it in your bones darling." He stopped behind her, his hands slid on her shoulders squeezing them. His lips grazed her ear as he whispered "You're just like me." He continued until he stopped in front of her looking back into her hazel eyes. "I had it all once. Fortune, fame. But nothing satisfied. "To thine own self be true. " Polonius. I'll show you what you've been dreaming of." he began running his thumb across her chin, his touch was cold but her body lit up like fire when he touched her. The door busted open braking both of their attention. "ah, splendid" he said turning his attention to Miss Ever who came walking. "I found this one in the bar, sir. Prostituting herself." "Ah." He said in interactive  friendly conversation "There's nothing she won't do for a dollar." Miss Evers said which made Eleanor look over, Her eyes widened when she saw she wasn't alone, She had a women gaged and bound Eleanor's mouth dropped in shock. James grabbed the half naked girl from Miss Evers throwing her on the bed he walked over to Eleanor cutting to the chase "Pull the trigger and take her last breath." He said grabbing her hand and placing a revolver in it then leaned in "It's exhilarating." He said with a twisted smile. Eleanor looked over to the women to pleaded with muffled screams. "You're crazy." She said pulling her hand way from him. He stepped forward looking down at her "You got to go out and grab life My dear or it will pass right by you." and with that a loud bang went off as he pulled the trigger blowing the women's head off. "Oh! Jesus!" She said jumping back. James calmly dropped the gun, He turned his head to Miss Evers "Laundress?"  "Yes, sir?" " Replace the linens." she began replacing the bed sheets "Right away, sir. I'll get the ammonia. What a glorious stain!" She said with a cheerful tone. Eleanor's vision began fading in and out as she stumbled her way to the door. Turning the door Knob she began stumbling down the hallway as her vision went in a and out, she began fading closer and closer into darkness when she felt two arms wrap around her from behind "Your heart is beating like a humming bird." James said excitedly "Let me go!" She said frantically trying to shake him off "Shh" He said trying to clam her down "No, I don't suppose I will." She turned her head back to look at him with tear soaked eyes. He took out a handkerchief cleaning the tears away on her cheeks "In fact, I might never let you go." He said with a devilish smile and that was the last words before it all faded to darkness.

. . .

*Thump* *Thump* *Thump* The consistent sound of a heart beat chimed through her ear, it was claiming, relaxing she turned her body to the cool from beside her and began to drift back off to sleep to the repetitive sound when her eyes shot open remembering what happened before. She slowly shifted her head to see James leaned back on the couch and her sitting beside him. He must have fallen asleep after carrying her to the couch. Eleanor genitally grabbed James hand that was on her waist and lifted it up laying it on the couch freeing her so slowly sat up, standing she began to walk to the door "Damn locked" She though she turned to see a window across the room she looked back over to James sleeping form before she tipped toed past him to the window when she pushed on the window it wouldn't open she looked for a lock but it seemed like it was never made to open. "I'm afraid there's no way out my dear." She jumped from the braking silence to see James in the same position as eyes still closed. "No use It's no use in trying to run." he said eyes still closed "You got the wrong girl, I don't want to kill people." fear filled her voice. He stood up from the couch and began walking towards her "Oh but you do, don't lie to yourself we both know it wasn't stress that made you pass out." He stared into her eyes challenging her "No, That my dear was excitement." he said with a bite in his voice "I have no idea what you are talking about" She challenged back "Fighting it will only make it worse, you know." He teased as he twirled a piece of her hair "More empty, No purpose. You will fall further and further into you meaningless life feeling nothing." She she pushed his hand away "I'm not like you." he gave her a pleased smile "Then tell me, why are you not terrified, Begging for your life?" He asked. She didn't respond "Darling, we are cut from the same dark cloth. I know you and what you desire don't just fall into the darkness, revel in it." He said with a wicked smile.
