Sacrifice

While walking into the dark forests, Lux and Alice have been quite quiet and Alice has this friendcrush(to be best friends with some) on Lux. She's trying to start a conversation .

" So.. Umm hey.. I am Alice"  Said Alice

" Nice name, mine's Lilux. You can call me Lux" replied Lux with a smile . "Haven't actually seen you here, what are you exactly here for?"

Asked Lux to Alice

" Well, I am here for a punishment fir not disarming the nevaders against my root(Alex)" said Alice with a guilty face .

" well, why are you feeling so sad? Oracle camp isn't a place to punish you. It's something like a school, where they teach you the right stuff about being an evade. " said lux

" You sure know so much about this place, how long have you been here?

" 2 years " said Lux with a smile.

"Why is she so beautiful, she's so graceful. I wish I could be atleast a percent like her. I wish I could be her best friend, I think she is a wonderful person to be friends with."thought Alice to herself .

Lux sure did have a beautiful smile, it could make anyone fall for her. But her eyes look isolated, although she was a porter almost every week . She never looked happy, she always kept to herself all the time. Alice felt a really strong positive vibe from Lux. 

''so what are your hobbies " asked Alice while picking up some branches from the floor.

" well, I usually hangout at the Alley where we have archery, swordfighting and all sort of martial arts to defend the evades against the nevaders. " said Lux.

"Ahhh, that's cool "said Alice

Just then a nevader moves through them  real quick, you could hardly see a glimpse but the vibes are good enough for them to know it's a nevader .

" Alice, in your pocket there is a feather, remove it and put it on your back".  said Lux in haste, "REMOVE IT".

Alice removes the feather from her uniform and puts it on her back. Suddenly a ray of light comes out of the feather, the feather drops on her feet and leaves a ray of light. The ray of light spreads like a circle behind her back. Soon it takes a shape of the elegant wings an evade usually has. The  wings starts to make the dark forest a mesmerising place which was lit with the rays of the majestic wings which spread. " you say" oracle camp and u leave right now Alice or they will attack you!" said Lux with the aim of protecting Alice, "Go!" screamed the brave girl!

"No, I am not leaving you alone Lux!! You are my friend! " screamed Alice

" Go, it's a swear on me" said Alice in a very convincing voice with her blue eyes.

The wings starts to float , while floating away the scene starts getting blurred, the scene fades while Lux screams her heart out.  Alice's eyes gets wet by her precious tears. She sees her friend dying to protect Alice.

Is it the end of a friendship to begin?
