a big gulp of spit lumped in my throat, causing my heart to race as I stared at her. "No, Lucinda, I'm not gonna hurt Aph like that." her pouty red lips turned to a frown, bringing her eyes down with it. "Aaron, why are you so worried about Aphmau? She told you to get lost!"
I squeezed my eyes shut and balled my fists so hard that my nails broke the skin of my palm.
"Lucinda, Just.. No," I huffed, and stared at her.
"Just because Aphmau and I are no longer together does NOT mean I do not love or care about her." Acid dripped from my tounge with that statement.
Her crimson eyes angered "Fuck you, Aaron," tears built up in those beautiful rose colored spheres "I dont want to be on this case... Im sorry, I wont help you."
My heart pounded rhythmically in my chest as she spun on her heels and walked away.
not without smoothly swaying her hips with each step, of course.
right then and tbere, I realized how fucked I really was.
