As the night appeared, Kageyama was perched up on a hill where he was able to see the guild masters conference. He held the Lullaby flute tightly as he prepared to complete his mission.
'The Lullaby's song should reach them from up here. Our time is finally now.' Kage thought with a smirk, relishing in his soon to be victory.
Kate attention was soon grabbed when he heard some noise coming up from behind him, which shocked him as he thought he was caught. When he turned around, however, he spotted Fairy Tail's Master Makarov sitting on a tree stump, reading an issue Sorcerer's Weekly and blushing up a storm while giggling perversely.
"Now those are beautiful numbers right there." Makarov said with a chuckle. "Wizard girl's sure are sexier than they were back in my day." He stopped looking at the magazine and when he spotted Kage behind him, causing him to gasp in surprise before jumping off the stump. "I-It's not what it looks like! I swear!"
"I don't care about that." Kage said, finding this old man already annoying and a waste of time.
Makarov soon took noticed of Kage's attire, which consisted of nothing but his pants, while his entire upper torso and shoulder was covered in gauze and bandages. He also noticed that he looked pretty hurt. "You've been hurt badly boy. You shouldn't be wandering around the woods in your condition." Makarov stated.
If my memory serves, that old geezer is Master Makarov of the Fairy Tail Guild. Why do I keep running into these flies?' Kage thought in irritation, but then a plan formed in his head. He then put on his best polite smile before speaking up. "Excuse me, I don't suppose you care to hear a song? They wouldn't let me play my flute while I was in the hospital."
"That's one creepy flute you got there." Makarov commented as he gazed at the flute in his hands.
I know, but it has a beautiful sound." Kage insisted.
"Hmmmm...well I should be going...but I guess one song couldn't hurt." Makarov relented, figuring he had a few minutes to spare before trying to find Natsu and his group before they caused too much damage.
Oh, thank you. Now, be sure to play close attention." Kage said happily. 'I win.'
Kage slowly brought the Lullaby flute close to his lips, ready to bring death upon Fairy Tail guild master. It was kind of ironic really, the fact that Fairy Tail tried to stop Eisenwald, and Dow their master will die. Once he's out of the way, the rest of those old guild masters will die as well.
But, for some reason, Kage paused before he let the flute touch his lips.
His mind was telling him to do it, reminding him of all the words that his guild mates told him about getting revenge for having their rights stripped away. However, he also remembered remembered how those Fairy Tail wizards treated him when he was hurt, how they took care of him when he was injured. He even remembered how that pink-haired one got angry when his own guild mate caused said injury.
He knew his mission was close to being finished...but why sis he feel like he couldn't go through it?
Meanwhile, Arlic and the rest of the gang managed to come up from atop a hill and spotted Kage holding the flute up, with Makarov right in front of him.
"There he is!" Gray exclaimed.
"And he's with gramps!" Natsu pointed out.
"Master!" Erza exclaimed with worry.
Arlic growled before raising his hand and gather some energy in it. "I can blast him away before he even gets a chance!"
Before the Saiyan could do anything, someone popped in out of nowhere and stopped them.
