I'm sitting on the couch inside a hotel suite. Beside me is the love of my life, Forth.

The man I love.

The man I left 2 years ago...

"Forth." I break our awkward silence. He looked at me with his usual stoic demeanor. But his eyes tell otherwise. His forlorn eyes.

"Thank you for agreeing to meet with me." I sheepishly said to him. Breaking contact with his eyes while I spoke.

He sighed. Once. Twice.

"Haaaaaay..." Thrice...

"Well, this will happen sooner or later. Why delay the inevitable?" he said as-a-matter-of-factly with a crooked smile.

"Forth, I..." was lost for words. My heart was beating fast as if it wants to burst out. But I need to tell him this now. This may be the only chance I get.

He was looking at me intently. Waiting for me to continue. His face back to being expressionless.

I sighed, placing my right hand to my chest in an effort to calm myself. "I want you back Forth. I need you in my life. Please take me back..."

"Seriously? You think I will just take you back by spouting flattery on me?" His facial expression crumpling to that of anger.

Forth hit the coffee table in front of the couch.

"Do you know what I felt when you left?! Do you know what I must do while enduring the pain in my heart? For 2 years, I had to show people I'm happy yet I was empty inside?! I was expected to be the best! But the only one who can bring me happiness, my pride and joy left me for his own selfish reasons!"
