Sophie wake up headmaster wants us! I groaned and pulled the covers over my head obviously not wanting to get up. Sophie its a surprise breakfast three people are finally going to a permanent home. Thats when I shot up amediatly. I really wanted to leave this place I was excited. But when I realized my surroundings I saw the as always three beds in the plain tan walls in the orphanage. Lara was smiling at me with her long brown hair and perfect teeth. She was one year younger than me but we were best friends. I quickly got out the orphanages uniform its all white except the black collar and black trim at the bottom. It said on the right side of your chest wall orphanage. I glared at the outfit. I ignored it after that and went to make my hair a little more scene/emo looking since it was perfectly straight all ready. I smiled at my black hair and slipped on my white flats and left with Lara. We went to the cafeteria and sat down listening for headmaster wall. All I could hear is high pitched voices that were overly excited since it was an all girl orphanage but headmaster wall was the only boy I've seen in a while. He had brown hair he is about 45 years old so you know he's not old old.

The lunch aids handed out are trays full of mush. I looked at it in disgust until I heard head master wall say "the first girl who gets to go to their new home is .......Ashley witfeild! Congradulations Ashley.she jumped up and down with glee which made me feel worse. Lara gave me a calm smile dont worry it'll be ok. You'll get picked I know it. Next thing I knew Brenly was chose second then Lara .I turned my head to Lara and put on a sad face. She had a surprised expression. I just looked away being mad at Lara for having to go. I looked down at my food and saw a long white hair that looked like the lunch aids hair in the food I picked it out almost barfing. When head master said two more people will be picked. I didn't really pay attention though. I heard baylee say I know I'm gonna be picked. Her friends giggled in sync with her untill I heard loud and clear Sophie Wolfe I choked on my breakfast mush. I was going to a new home for good with a family that cares unlike people here no one talks to me I'm friendless now since I'm going. all I had was Lara.

I met with headmaster wall and the parents and the other four girls counting Lara. I was excited and sad. I'm leaving my friend my only friend. No one else likes me. I would have to make new friends. But then I thought family. I will have a mom and dad sorta. I saw the four couples all happy and filled with glee. I was wondering which would be my new parents. I sighed and smiled. Sophie this is cassia snow and joseph. You will be going home with them to meet your new siblings! He was talking to me like a little kid. But I plastered on a fake smile and nodded. Thank you I slurred.

Headmaster wall said bye to the snows and we left. I saw Lara but just ignored her. I felt bad but oh well we would never see each other again. The orphanage was in California we were driving to Florida. yay! Hours of awkwardness. I sat in the back seat of the car in the middle. It was a nice car. So I suppose they're wealthy. We were driving for about five minutes and cassia turned around and told me about lilly one of her daughters she was 14 so eh we might be friends. But she had a 17 year old son and his friend who lived with him. I just sat there without talking just smiling and nodding. I flipped my black hair. She just turned around and looked at her husband and smiled. I looked out the window at the bright field. Which made me very sleepy so I dozed off
