A Vampire's Kiss

It's been a week since I moved in here and Tate has still only said "its okay" to me. I think we're getting closer as friends but it's hard to tell when he doesn't speak. I also still haven't met Jeffrey yet, I assumed he must be on holiday or something but I dont know, something feels off.

It's now Friday afternoon, we've all just got back from school and Audrie has the weekend off so I probably won't see her, Tate is fun to hang around with but he seems a bit stressed today so I'm gonna leave him alone. Draco and Logan are free... I think.

I head up to Draco's room and knock but there's no answer so I go down the hall to Logan's room.

"Hello? What can I do for you?" He asks in his rough yet somehow smooth voice. If I didn't know any better, I would've fallen for this guy then and there.

Oh wait, I dont know any better and I did fall for him right then and there.

"H-hi, I was wandering if you wanted to hang out?" I ask "everyone else is busy so I thought I'd ask you as we havent hung out much since I arrived"

"Nice to know I'm your least favourite out of us all" he jokes.

"What? No, I mean its just that we haven't spoken much and I thought it'd be awkward" I ramble on, talking really fast due to nerves.

"Chill, I was just kidding" he says calmly "I'll hang out with you, what do you want to do?"

"Umm, I was thinking maybe we could go to the skate park?" I suggest.

His eyes seemed to light up at my suggestion but then they also seemed to be quite shocked at the same time.

"So, you coming?" I ask, Logan nods his head and follows me to my car.

"I'm driving" he says.

I stop where I'm stood and give him a death glare whilst also givig him a low growl. He chuckles "what's that for?"

"Nobody. Drives. My. Baby." I state, pausing between my words so that he understands how serious I am.

"Okay, okay, you can drive" he says, holding his hands up in defence.

"Thank you" I smile, changing my mood completely.

I've gotta be honest, as I was driving I noticed that Logan seemed a little scared that I may be driving him to the middle of the forest to kill him because of how I was acting, but when I began talking to him it seemed to calm him down.

"So, how old are you?" I ask.

He looks at me "I'm 20... next month anyway"

"Really? I wouldn't have guessed"

"I don't know whether you're calling me old or not" Logan says suspiciously.

"You pick" I say cheekily, giving him a wink.

He gives me an evil look before rolling his eyes as we finally arrived at the skate park.

"You bring a board?" I ask.

"Nah, but I've got a mate who has some round the corner"

"No worries, just borrow one of mine" I say handing him one of my boards.

"You have three?" He asks, surprised.

"Yeah, in case of emergency"

"Fair enough" he says as I hop onto my board and start doing some tricks that I had taught myself over the years.

Logan looked at me in shock before finally joining me.

About an hour later we decide to go grab some drinks so we head to McDonalds and grab some Cokes and McFlurries to munch on whilst we take a short break. We sit and chat for the next half hour until I realize that it's getting late and we should probably get home.
