Elizabeth is a very simple and innocent woman who believed that life was something to be treasured. Elizabeth has always appeared to be happy, as she constantly showed that she had a very free spirit. She enjoyed making up songs, often about Bella and Edward, and would often sing when she was alone.
She would innocently approach friends or foes due to her childlike curiosity. Elizabeth's gentle heart gave her the strength to always trust in people's good intentions, so she did not bear a grudge towards anyone who wronged her. Due to witnessing the savage murder of her entire friend's family by bandits, she firmly believes that humans are scarier than vampires. She has said "humans go around killing people for no reason."
Elizabeth seemed okay with other human children around her, but was mistrustful of most adults. Even so, Elizabeth was always very respectful to her elders, addressing them by a proper title such as "Miss Jane," or "Lord Marcus," to show her respect. She would go out of her way to extend a proper thank you if someone helped her as well. ____________________________________
Powers & Abilities
Mental shield
Elizabeth's gift allows her to shield herself and those around her from supernatural powers that affect the mind (such as Edward's and Aro's telepathy, Jane's illusionary pain, Alec's sensory paralysis, Eleazar's ability identification, Kate's electric shock, and Zafrina's illusion), which explains why most of their powers were useless against her when she was still human. She had displayed this power since before the beginning of the Twilight series, and by becoming a vampire, her shield was greatly intensified in strength.
This power comes from her subconscious desire to protect her mind above everything else, and as long as she holds on to that desire, it makes the shield difficult to extract. Though her shield is powerful, it has many limitations: it has no effect against a physical attack, which makes it easy for an enemy to invade her shield and use his power on those she protects.
Copycat
