this is what was rushing through your mind right now, why you ask? well, you saw him again, jake is standing right in front of you in the line to get your vidcon passes (ya know, the ones you get with the lanyards?) anyways, he was RIGHT in front of you, your mom was taking a shower and obviously jakes mom was somewhere else.

you have an idea, why don't you try and get his attention! you let out a cough, nothing. you decide to go on your phone and type a message, nothing. 'i'm sorry but i literally give up already, there's only 1 thing left to do' i pretend to get a phone call, i answer it and pretend someone has told me the worst news (so nasty of me i know but it was all i could do)

y: 'wait what? no she can't be! nooo oh my god, that cat was literally my best friend!' you pretend to sob, you knew jake loved cats, so did you tbh. jake FINALLY TURNS AROUND TO LOOK AT YOU! you pretend to not notice, you can't seem desperate
y: 'mom i can't do this, i'm literally at vidcon and my best friend that's been with me my whole life is gone? mom idk what to do' you cry and pretend to panic, i guess you were good at it but you felt so evil

y: „m- oh uh- i'm okay" you sniff and he looks like he feels so bad for you
j: „what's the matter?" he pretends as if he hasn't just heard what you said 'on the phone to your mom'
y: „u-uh my cat died" you can barely speak, you're literally talking to your idol rn and he doesn't even know it
j: „damn i'm so sorry! i've got a cat too and i've knew her my whole life, i'd never be able to get out of bed again if she left us. i'm so sorry, you wanna hug?" he goes to hug you and you immediately smile, trying to hide the shriek about to come out of your mouth, you stop yourself and you hug back.
