Later at night, at a big Music Club downtown of Crown City, a teenage boy was looking through everything before he has to open up. He has orange hair, black eyes and was wearing an orange jacket with roller skates. His name is Trent Tanker. The owner of the music club. As he was looking through everything, he had made sure that he was prepared. “Ok.” he said seriously. “I think that’s everything. The karaoke songs, snacks, drinks, and the band that’s supposed to play should be here in about 30 minutes. I’m all set.”

Suddenly the orange haired boy had dropped a picture from one of his books. When he picked it up, his face instantly turned into a sad one.

It was a picture of him with a teenage girl with blue hair, bluebell eyes and was wearing a white shirt with a  blue skirt. Her name was Lucina Ylisse. His best friend and secret crush.

You see, the two of them have been best friends since they were kids and they had a lot of good times together. And during the time, Trent had began to grow a crush on her and hoped to one day tell her how he felt.

But one day, they got news that Lucina and her family had to move to Japan. And that really made him sad and heartbroken.

“I still can’t believe this had to happen.” he said sadly as he ran his fingers over the picture. “After everything that we’ve been through together.”

Flashback,

8 months ago, outside a bakery, Trent was helping Lucina not be so clumsy.

“There we go Lucina, you got it.” Trent said. “Thanks for helping Trent.” Lucina said smiling. “If it wasn’t for you, i’d still be extremely clumsy.”

“No problem at all Lucina.” Trent said with a smile. “And i’m glad your parents own a bakery. I’m getting hungry.”

The blue haired girl couldn’t help but giggle at the way he loved to eat. “Trent Tanker, you are so funny.” she said honestly.
“I can't help it.” the orange haired boy said as he chuckled a bit. “I tend to be awesome.”

After a while, they went inside the bakery. Suddenly Lucina had accidentally tripped but Trent quickly caught her before she hit the ground.

“Whoa! You ok Lucina?” he asked looking at her worriedly.

“Yeah…. I’m….fine.” Lucina said as she looked up at him.

Suddenly the two teenagers were staring into each other’s eyes lovingly. Black were lost in light blue and vice versa.

Suddenly the orange haired boy snapped out of his thoughts and blushed. “Sorry.” he said as he let her go.

“Oh… that's ok.” the blue haired girl said, blushing as well.

Suddenly a young woman had came in with a piece of paper in her hands. She has pink hair, black eyes, a white shirt with white pants. Her name was Olivia Ylisse. Lucina’s mother.

“Lucina?” she called to her daughter. “Are you here?”

“I’m here mom.” Lucina said as she smiled at her mother.

“Hi Miss Ylisse.” Trent greeted as he waved at her.

“Well, hello Trent.” Olivia said smiling. “Didn’t expect to see you here.”

“I was helping Lucina not be so clumsy.” Trent said smiling. “We just finished.”

“Well that’s very kind of you Trent.” Olivia said smiling. “My daughter is lucky to have you as her best friend.”

The two teenagers blushed lightly when they heard that. The young woman always believes that one day, the two of them would get together seeing how close they are.

“But unfortunately, i have some bad news.” she said as her face turned into a frown.

“What is it mom?” Lucina asked a bit worriedly when she heard that.

“We’re moving to Japan.” she told her

“Move?!” both Trent and Lucina said at the same time in shock and disbelief.

‘No.’ Trent thought sadly when he heard that. ‘This can't be happening. I can't lose my best friend. My secret crush.’

“I’m afraid so.” Olivia said sadly. “We leave first thing tomorrow morning. You better start packing.”

As she said that, the young woman walked off leaving the two teenagers alone. They were both trying to take this all in.

“Well…. I guess this is our last day hanging out huh?” the orange haired boy asked sadly.

“Yeah.” the blue haired girl said sadly as well. “This is not what I wanted to happen. Plus, I don’t  want to leave you. You’re the only true friend I’ve ever had.”

“Well…. I’m sure we’ll see each other again.” Trent said trying to lighten the mood. “Only time will tell, right?”

“Yeah.” Lucina said honestly. “I guess you are right.”

Suddenly, Lucina hugged Trent which had shocked him a bit. “I’ll miss you Trent.” she said softly.

“Same here Lucina.” Trent said as he hugged her back. For this may be the last time he gets to hang out with her. And this will be something he will never get over.

Present Time

“The worst part is…. I never even got to tell her how i feel about her.” the orange haired boy said sadly as he looked down. “But it doesn’t matter anymore. She’s probably found a guy who’s probably better than me.”

As he said that, music began to play and he had began to sing

,

Trent: it's been so long
Since I've seen her face
You say she's doing fine
I still recall
A sad cafe
How it hurt so bad to see her cry
I didn't wanna say goodbye...

Send her my love
Memories remain
Send her my love
Roses never fade
Send her my love

The same hotel
The same old room
I'm on the road again
She needed so much more
Than I could give
We knew our love could not pretend
Broken hearts can always mend

Send her my love
Memories remain
Send her my love
Roses never fade
Send her my love

Calling out her name I'm dreaming
Reflections of her face I'm seeing
It's her voice that keeps on haunting me

Send her, send her my love
Roses never fade
Memories remain
Send her, send her my love
As he finished singing, Trent sighed before he looked at the clock. It was 8:00 PM. Time to open up.

“Well, it's time to open the doors.” he said as he got up and went to open up the music club. Little did he know, was that tonight was going to bring something he never thought would happen.
