Sideswipe, Jetstorm, Slipstream, and HotShot made their way into Trent’s office and sat in front of his desk. They were all really nervous about what he was going to say to them. Especially with what just happened.

“Ok boys.” Trent said as he sat near his desk in front of them. “First of all, i would like to say,  you did an amazing job. I’ve never seen such a performance in my life since i first opened this night club.”

The mechs felt themselves blushing lightly from embarrassment. This felt a little bit awkward for them.

“We weren’t really trying to get attention from the crowd or anything, sir.” Sideswipe said hesitantly.

“Yes.” Slipstream said, agreeing with him. “We just wanted to do some karaoke to clear our heads. We have had some rough lives lately.”
“Please don’t be mad at us sir.” HotShot said a bit fearfully, not wanting to be yelled at by the orange haired boy.

“Why would i be mad at you guys?” Trent said, shocked to hear the hesitation and fear from the 4 autobots. “You guys were amazing! I just  said that twice already.”

“Also, just out of curiosity, how can a  16 year old teenage boy be the owner of a night club?”The black minicon said, now looking at him.

“It’s a long story.” Trent simply said before shaking his head. “But that's besides the point.”

“Well Mr. Tanker i….” Sideswipe tried to speak, but was interrupted.

“Just call me Trent.” Trent said with a smile on his face, introducing himself.

“Trent.” Sideswipe said saying his name. “I am really glad that you liked our…. Unexpected little performance. But we’re not really anything special.”

“Yeah.” HotShot said feeling sad. “We’re just a bunch of Autobots who have rough lives and randomly run into each other becoming friends.”

Trent then saw the sad looks on the Autobots faces and senses they’ve been through a lot. But he felt that this could probably help make things better for them.

“Listen to me boys.” he said seriously, getting their attention. “I may not know what you went through or are currently going through. But you shouldn’t belittle yourselves just because of that.

“But it is true.” Slipstream said honestly. “We are not that special.”

“Others may believe that, but i see you guys have potential.” the orange haired boy said seriously. “I can see that you 4 are willing to do anything if you put your mind to it. But you can’t let negative thoughts get the best of you.”

As he said that, he turned away for a moment. “And besides…. Things have been rough with me on business and i’m losing a lot.” he said honestly. “I won't have enough to help with my family and shut  this place down.”

The mechs felt bad when he said that. And it made it seem that there is another person who understands how hard it is to work on being strong and having something push you down.

“Anyway, back to what i’m trying to say.” Trent said getting back on topic. “I have an offer for the 4 of you.”

“An offer?” the red and yellow autobot asked in shock and confusion

“What kind of offer?” the red autobot asked looking confused and hesitant.

“Well, as you may know, i usually have a band performing at my club once in a while to hype things up.” Trent said seriously. “And tonight the Harmony Femmes were supposed to be singing. But their selfish manager canceled it because he doesn't want me near his ‘Princess.’”

“Jetstorm and i have heard of the Harmony Femmes.” Slipstream said, knowing them. “They are 4 Autobots and one of them is a Cybertronian Hybrid who met and sang together at their school which allowed them to become a band.”

“Just like what happened to us.” HotShot said, realizing the similarities.

“But technically, we’re not a band.” Sideswipe said honestly.

“That's what i wanna offer you.” Trent said, getting their attention back on his offer. “How would you 4 like to be a band and help me out at my night club?”

The mechs gasped in shock when they heard that offer. Was he asking them to help him sing at his night club as band? This was an unexpected offer. Especially considering who they are.

“I….I…. I don’t know uh… Trent.” Sideswipe said, stuttering a bit. “This is so sudden and…. We only just met.”

“And i do not think we want to get into any kind of drama most bands tend to go through.” Jetstorm said, agreeing with him.

“And… what if we’re not  that good enough?” HotShot asked worriedly.

Trent can tell how worried and hesitant they were and didn’t want to force them into this. It was just an offer and he doesn't mind if they say no, since he understands.

“Look, i’m not forcing you.” he said seriously. “I just wanted to make a suggestion, in case you’re interested. Plus, think of it as a change for each of you. A change that will help you let go of your pain and be something more.”

The mechs still felt felt hesitant as they looked at each other. They wanted their lives to change. But not too much into fame. It was a big step. And a big decision.

“Tell you what.” The orange haired boy said to assure them. “I’ll give you some time to think about  this. And when you have your answer, meet me back here so i would know. Like i said, there is no pressure if you don’t want to.”

The 4 autobots felt a little better when they heard that. “Thank you Trent.” the red autobot said, giving a small smile.
“No problem.” Trent said, smirking at them. “You guys are free to go.”

The 4 autobots all got up and headed out of the night club, figuring it was time to go home. But as they were heading out, the people who had saw their performance were watching them and gave a few cheers.

“You guys were amazing.” A teenage girl said as she squealed a bit.
“We hope you 4 will be in concert someday.” a teenage boy said honestly. “I would love to see it.”

“You boys truly are something special in my opinion.” a woman said with a smile on her face.

Sideswipe, Jetstorm, Slipstream, and HotShot felt small smiles on their faces and blushed lightly. This was the first time anyone had ever complimented any of them.

Once they were outside, they looked at each other seriously. “So i guess we’ll be seeing each other around.” Sideswipe said, looking at his 3 new friends.

“I guess so.” Slipstream said honestly as he gave a small smile.

“Maybe we should give each other our numbers to stay in touch.” HotShot said, giving a little suggestion. “Especially since this is a situation for all of us.”

“Good idea HotShot.” Sideswipe said, liking the idea to stay in touch.

The 4 of them pulled out their phones and gave them to each put their numbers in. though they were surprised to see that they have the same kind of phones which looked like the Autobot insignia.
“Hey cool!” HotShot said, liking it. “We even have the same kind of phones.”

The 4 Autobots laughed at the comment before they gave their phones back after putting their numbers in. “Well, we will see you guys around.” Jetstorm said as he and Slipstream began to head off. “It was nice to meet you all.”

“Same here, bye!” HotShot said happily as he headed off as well.
“See you guys later!” Sideswipe called out as he had watched his new friends leave, before heading off himself.

Though, as they were all walking home, they all had the same thought in their heads. Should they take Trent’s offer or not?
