Kathrine's POV

It finally stopped raining and I stopped being a scary cat. I texted Elizabeth a moment ago and said if she wanted to come over later. She said alright. So she's coming over right now and  my room is a mess. Elizabeth hates that I'm always not clean. So gotta clean before Grumpy Elizabeth comes.

Before I can go back to my phone I heard a knock-Knock at the door. Elizabeth was here I figured.

"I GOT IT MOM", I yelled. Oh stupid me. I just remembered my mom's at work. I went downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey Kat", she said. I waved and let her in. She told me that Ellie had to go straight home because of an emergency. I said okay and we just chatted.

"Hey, you heard about that new girl in school?", Elizabeth suddenly said.

"Yeah. Damon told me about her earlier. He said she was in his English class.", I replied.

"Her name is Alison. She just moved here a week ago."

"How do you know that?", I asked curiously.

"I kinda talked to her today. At lunch, she told me her story. I think we're friends.", Elizabeth said.

"So what's her story? Where did she move from?"

"New York, I think."

"Oh that's cool. What else?"

After I asked that question, Elizabeth looked down and went silent. I figured she didn't want to tell me.

"I can't tell you. I mean I promised her I wouldn't tell anyone because of something she told me." Elizabeth finally spoke.

"Oh okay. Don't tell me then." I said. We both had silence for a few seconds and then I came up with the idea of watching a movie. She nodded and went to the kitchen to make some popcorn while I put the movie on. We picked the movie Love, Simon. Elizabeth fell in love with the movie like she would watch it again and again. I thought it was pretty okay too. But during the movie, I also wondered what Elizabeth didn't want to tell me about what the new girl told her. I'm really curious about everything. I'm like a nosy person but not that nosy.
