Move

Yunha didn't like it. Moving... She didn't want that change moving causes. New friends, new teachers, new streets. Will her new school be as fun as her old one? Will the people even accept her? The amount of time she spent gaining a good friend group is gonna be worth nothing now that they were moving from Busan to Seoul. And it's all her mother's fault.

"Sweetie it's not so bad. You are just being dramatic." She said softly, frowning. The lady was a pretty woman but her attitude was terrible. Yunha's mother was an alpha while her father... He was an omega...

"Eomma I just don't get why we couldn't have moved after I graduated..." Yunha said softly, frowning as she began to carry some boxes into her room. Thankfully the house was small so she didn't have to carry her heavy box for too long.

The house was just a one story. There was only three bedrooms, a bathroom, a large living room, a small kitchen and a garage. It was just a plain beige color inside and out. The street they lived in was a bit on the lower class side... But the neighbors weren't so bad right??

"YAH, GET YOUR FUCKING DOG OUT OF MY GARDEN! Aish, he's eating my VEGETABLES! GET HIM OUT BEFORE I COOK THE STUPID THING." The shrill yell of her neighbor was heard throughout the whole street, making Yunha jump a bit.

"YAH I TOLD YOU, THAT AIN'T MY DOG! IT'S A STRAY SO JUST KILL IT!" The old man a house down was always yelling too. Humans, animals, trees... He yells at them all.

Yunha sighed as the arguments continued. She laid down on her bed before grabbing a pillow to muffle the sound of her screaming into it.

They were living fine in Busan;  their house was big, Yunha had friends, the teachers loved her, her grades were excellent. But it was her mother's fault... It was her who made the move.

Her eomma cheated on her father. While it caused her mother pain, it caused a great sickness in her father. Yunha's mother never liked omegas like her father, she didn't like male submissives. Her eomma cheated on her amazing father with an alpha male. The infidelity should've caused her mother to be sent to death... But her mother was the one to kill him off. She set her alpha lover on him. He was the one who beat him and left her father to die. The blood loss and the feeling of heartbreak was so large that his heart just decided to stop beating. Her mother made like her father died of a robbery, so she wasn't a suspect.

That was two months ago. His death was still fresh in Yunha's mind; the look of pure agony forever sketched onto his face. The feeling of losing someone she deeply cared about scarred her. Yunha barely talked, her anxiety attack were starting again. She shook and cried at night. Yunha didn't go out anymore... No matter how much she hated her mother, how much she blamed her of his death, Yunha didn't wish to give her mother the satisfaction of seeing her crumble.

Yunha shook her head as tears streamed down her face, wetting the pillow and her hair. She pulled the pillow away from her face when the arguing stopped and stared at the slightly watery-stained ceiling. Schooling started up tomorrow on a Wednesday... She still has therapy on Thursday and unpacking to do today.

Yunha reluctantly sat up and began to go through her boxes. Two of her boxes were filled with clothes, another was filled with her shoes and two other boxes were filled with all her personal items. Stuffed animals, books, pictures... They were all things her father gave her. Yunha placed all her clothes in some drawers and put her favorite shoes in boxes before placing them in her closet. She was carefully placed pictures and books on her own bookshelf when her mother knocked on the door.

"Sweetie? I'm gonna go out and sightsee around okay? I'll be back by tomorrow. There's some leftover chicken and rice in the fridge baby. Don't forget to microwave the food." Her mother said, walking inside to place a small kiss on Yunha's hair.

Yunha pulled back a bit and tried to keep her face from contorting into one of pain and hatred. "G-goodbye eomma. I'll see you." Yunha said quietly before turning back to placing her father's photos into the bookshelves.

She heard her mother sigh a bit before leaving the room. Yunha's oversensitive ears can hear as she went into their car and drive away. Only then did Yunha relax and let out a breath of relief. Yunha pulled her long lavender hair into a messy ponytail, four full moon tattoos going down the back of her neck. They were not yet filled in; that'll only happen when she looks at her mates for the first time.

Yunha shook her head at the thought of her mysteries mates. Eomma was always disinterested in mates; look what she did to her own anyway. Yunha though... She wanted to find out about her mates. Were they gonna treat her good? Bad? Were they older or younger than her?? Did they have past girlfriends/boyfriends? Are they dating right now??

Yunha didn't want to think about them possibly being in a relationship with someone so she shook her head and continued to clean her room. By the time she finished, the skies were beginning to look pink and purple and dark blue, and Yunha's room looked organized and the boxes were folded up and placed under her bed. She walked into the kitchen and made herself some of the leftover chicken and rice. It wasn't crispy anymore and her mother took a lot of it so she just settled for eating the rest with a lot of rice.

After eating, Yunha took a shower and tried to get her mind off of everything. Baths were her escape, the sound and feeling of water rushing down and going on her skin relaxed her. The feeling of the cool or warm water relaxed the tense muscles on her back and shoulders. The powerful jets of water calmed the nerves that ran through her as the thought of school and new places raced through her mind.

Thoughts of her father, of her friends... She left them all behind in Busan because she knew. She knew that her mother was in Seoul to fool around. Yunha can hear the sounds of men flirting with her mother. She can hear her flirt back. She can see the subtle touched and heated looks. Yunha wasn't stupid... Her mother wanted to play around now that she was a single women.

Feeling frustrated with her own thoughts, Yunha slapped her forehead against the tiled wall and whined at the pain. Ughhhh, stupid Yunha. She thought as she rubbed her red forehead. Yunha turned the water off and began to dry off. She wrapped a towel around her head and another one stonee her body, humming quietly as she walked towards her room and began to change.

She changed into a basketball jersey that used to be her father's. It still smelled like his cologne and omega scent; sandalwood mixed with lemon and mint. It was large on her because he was a bit tall and large. Yunha pulled on a pair of cotton panties and began to pulled the covers down her bed before climbing into bed.

Because of her recent events (her father's death and her mother's infidelity), Yunha kept a lamp on near. She always had a fear of the dark, but now, it has increased tenfold. She kept the living room lamp on. Yunha had a nightlight placed in the bathroom that turned off when the sun came up. She even has glow in the dark stickers that she'll put on her wall and ceiling tomorrow after school.

Yunha sniffed at her father's jersey to help her sleep, pulling the covers over herself to feel a bit more warm. It feels like home for a bit... When Yunha was still innocent and naive... When her father held her through nightmares and panic attacks. When he would stay in her bed until she calmed down. When they would cuddle while watching movies. She fell asleep to the thought of all of those times, a smile on her face.

At least for one night, it didn't feel like she moved.

It felt perfect.

It felt like home.
