Chapter 08

Brian just chuckled, knowing his friend had it in her as he listened to the conversation. The officer smiled at her but didn't respond.

Roman started to get frustrated now:" Look, man, we're just trying to do our job. Our Boss sent us here just to make sure that everything was safe." Now the officer started to get pissed too:" It will be safe." Roman tried again:" Let just her in and take a quick peek.", he said while pointing at his new friend. The other male seemed to thing for a bit before shaking his head:" Nope"

"Come on hook a Brother up, please?" Chae elbowed him in his ribs but he didn't budge. "Nope and you are not my Brother", hissed the officer. Roman didn't know when to stop and tried again:" Brother from another mother?" This time he winced when her pointy elbow hit between his ribs.

The officer rose his voice:" Look! No one enters the facility but authorized evidence-personal. Now stop wasting my time. I'm going to call the embassy." Before Roman could say something Chae stepped in:" No it's okay, we trust you to take the boxes there."

Roman slid both their boxes through before heading to the elevator. When he pressed the button, he muttered something under his breath that Chae didn't understand. It was something with smush and another side. The two of them headed back to the van where Tej and Brian were looking at computers. "It's done. See, I think I make a better special agent than you ever did." Brian smiled at him:" Well, that depends on how you define special. I Think Chae did a better job than you"

Tej took something that looked like a control:" Come on now. Let's see what we got."

"Not funny," Roman said annoyed. Tej was trying to drive the remote car "Dawg, you still can't drive." Roman commented as Tej crashed into something. "Now I see why you're always getting into accidents. You can't even drive a remote car." Tej sighed:" I'm going to need you to shut up right now." "I'm not going to shut up-" Chae rolled her eyes:" Can you please be quiet? Tej needs to concentrate."

That was the moment where Roman shut his mouth, listening to the young woman with her sweet voice. But the silence didn't last long:" Give me the remote dawg." Roman attempted to grab it when Chae-Won gasped" Go left! I think I saw something!"

"Bingo," Tej said as he saw the vault. When the boys were discussing over the vault Chae tried to get her breathing under control again. The space was to tight for her. At least with so many people. The first thing she heard when she calmed down was:" She is a beauty tough, man."

"A beauty? As in good?" Roman asked. "Beauty as in, she's going to start off playing hard to get." Chae looked confused at him, not understanding what he meant by that. She didn't know what 'playing hard to get'means.

"Then no matter how much I caress her, no matter how much I love her, in the end, she still ain't going to give up that ass." The boys started laughing, but when the saw the Koreans confused expression the started to laugh even harder.

Back at the old fabric, the boys were trying to explain to Chae, what they said before. "playing hard to get is, when you act like you aren't interested in a person, but that person tries to get you to like them. It's hard to explain. Do you understand what I mean?" Brian asked his old friend. "I think so. Thank you."

Tej and Roman were laughing at how cute the Korean was when Mia interrupted them: "Got it! I got it" as she was standing in front of the laptop.
