Trust issues

He couldn't stop shivering after she cleans him up. She needs to bath him.  She felt guilty seeing him shivering, but he needs a bath.

His fur covered with mud and dirt. She can't let him sleep on her bed with dirt on his body. She just let him sit on the couch waiting.

As she waits for his fur fully dry, she walks to the kitchen and grabs a can of tuna in her cabinet. She took out some and put it on the small plate.

She grabs some milk from the refrigerator and heats up a bit using the microwave, so the milk is warm and not too cold. After finished, she walks to the living and places them down on the floor.

She carried his body up and place down in front of the food that she prepared. Without hesitating, he sniffs the food and dug in.

She smiles as she saw him enjoying his food, licking until it's clean. He licks the milk a bit before the turn to the other side. She can finally see his soft fur starts to dry a bit and no more dirt on his fur.

"Aigoo, you really like tuna, don't you?" She smiles before crouch down in front of him.

He flinches and backs away a bit leaving more space between both of them. She sighs in defeat. Maybe he still doesn't trust her, maybe she should leave some space for him.

...

The next day, she was thinking that she wanted to adopt him since she's alone and needs some company.

"What should I name you?", She put her palm under her chin and think as she stares the small creature inside his own cat house that she bought like this morning.

She gave him a bath, and his soft fur already dirt, no more dirt and mud on the floor anymore. Even though, she gets a few scratches. She ruffled his fur with a towel, tries to dry him up faster.

After an hour, his fur fully dried. So she just let him on her bed.

He looks like a calico cat. Maybe he is. He closes his eyes before laying his head down on the soft mattress feeling exhausted.

"Should I name you, Lico?"

"or maybe, Chimmy? They don't really suit him."

A bulb lights up inside her mind. She snapped his fingers. "Jimin. That suits you."

She just let him lay on the edges of her bed. She wouldn't mind. He looks tired.

"Goodnight, Jimin." She tucks under her blanket and turns off the light.
