seungmin heard a knock on the door and sat up from his spot on his bed.

"come in." he called.

hyunjin opened the door, entered, and closed it. he sat down next to seungmin and smiled.

"so, was there any reason you wanted me to come over?"

seungmin nodded and opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

"well, what is it?"

"i have to move." seungmin mumbled.

"move, like, move houses?" hyunjin started to worry.

"yes, but, also.. cities." 

"well where are you moving?"

"busan." seungmin felt his throat clench as he said the words.

"but why? it's so far."

"my mother asked me, and i didn't want to say no to her because i love her, and now that my father has passed... she's so sad and lonely. the only other person who lives at the house is our dog." 

"are you moving in with her?" hyunjin frowned slightly. he didn't want his boyfriend to leave.

"no, but i will visit her all the time so she's not as lonely." seungmin gave him a sad smile, and intertwined their hands.

"so... you're really leaving?"

"'fraid so." seungmin sighed.

"will you.. move back?"

"i definitely will. and you can come visit, or i can come and visit you. i know you want to stay here cause you have a whole life here, but, i wouldn't mind you moving to busan with me."

"maybe in the future." hyunjin laughed and pulled seungmin onto his lap.

seungmin did not oblige, and slung his arms over hyunjin's shoulders. 

"kiss?" seungmin said, and hyunjin nodded with that big dorky smile he has.

and then they kissed.

and from that kiss, they already knew they'd end up spending their lives together. no amount of arguments could change that, because a love like theirs could never die as long as they had each other.
