"Come on, are ya still mad at me?" Spinel asks fighting back the urge to giggle. (Y/N) sat on the love couch with her arms crossed over her chest. Her cheeks puffed out while her brows furrow forward. The short gem huffs as she turns her head away. She wasn't upset with Spinel, she was flustered! Her insides are currently experiencing emotional turbulence. She knew Spinel could sing based on the stories the Crystal Gem's shared with her, but she had no idea she could sing LIKE that! And don't get her started on the pink gem's dancing. It sent heat up to her cheeks just thinking about it. Sure, they hugged, cuddled and shared a few pecks on the cheek here and there but it was all done in a platonic manner or so she thought. However, the dance felt different. It felt extremely intimate and set her whole gem ablaze. (Y/N) so badly wanted to relive the moment where Spinel held her protectively in her arms, the short girls wrapped around tightly around her waist, the two sharing a breath as they greeted one another. She desperately wanted more of those moments.

Spinel chuckles to herself noticing (Y/N) was zoning out. The pink girl stretches her arms to loop around the fussy gem, lifting her up and bringing her into her lap. Spinel rested her chin on top of (Y/N) head with a content smile playing on her lips happy to have her close again.

"What's the matter doll?" Spinel asks sweetly as she twirled a strand of her (H/C) hair around her finger. (Y/N) sighs, she tilts her head back to look at the magenta gem with wide eyes.
"Nothing's wrong, I'm just surprised. I was told you could sing, but nothing prepared me for that! You left me speechless!" The short girl admitted as she settled comfortably between Spinel's legs.

"Could you say I spell bounded you?" she asked cockily referring back to her nearly floating away. That moment will forever replay in her head, the way her cheeks were flushed with color and her eyes gloss over. It was a proud moment for the slender gem. Spinel's sly smirk widens when she noticed the (Y/N) cheeks are painted a bright (Y/G) hue. The short gem rolls her eyes playfully as she shook head trying to play it cool.

"Oh hush up. Anyways now that I know you can sing like that, you are going to be performing your song at the Summer Festival." (Y/N) states as she stood up to look over the poem that was on the coffee table.

"Preform the song? On a stage, in front of....everyone?" Spinel asks warily, the pink gem could feel her palms sweat from under her gloves just from the mere thought of it. The (E/C) eyed girl hums out a yes as she looked back over to the slender gem.

"Yes, I think you will be a great addition to the show." The curvy gem says wearing a bright smile as she sits down beside the anxious girl. Spinel places her hands on her arms feeling the anxiety building up not liking the idea of being on stage with hundreds of eyes judging her.

"Uhh...I don't know. I don't think I'm good enough." She mutters looking down to her shoes, her fingertips digs into her forearms trying to distract herself from the heaviness in her chest. (Y/N) saw the immediate change in Spinel's behavior causing her smile to fall. Her eyes widen in concern as she scooted closer to the troubled girl.

"Hey, don't worry, I'll be helping you every step of the way to make you show ready! But if you aren't up for it I won't force you, Ellie." (Y/N) says compassionately, placing her hand on top of Spinel's knee. Magenta eyes shifted over to the left to gaze into sincere (E/C) hues. Warmth gradually blossoms in her chest melting away all the stress that was filling her up away. It amazed her how easily (Y/N) soothed her inner demons with just a simple look. Above all Spinel appreciated how patient and kind (Y/N) was with her, it made her feelings feel validated. Maybe she was blowing this out of proportion; she did just dance and sang today for a crowd of strangers and she had an amazing time. All thanks to the beautiful gem before her. Perhaps she should go for it. Spinel gives (Y/N) a gentle smile of her own before cupping her smaller hands with hers.
