All those times I passed you by..
Looking back, breathing heavily all I can is sigh..

I do remember, hoping you do too..
Those split seconds of contact our gaze afforded you and I..

Twas until that August evening arrived,
Twas where I saw you..

Guess our fates were meant to collide..
For I was stupefied to have you close by,
But as the hours passed us by..

I was at peace, felt like the luckiest guy..
Although my heart was pounding still,

It all seemed so obvious, couldn't even blame that poor thing..
I may have been nodding and spouting,

Alas, you didn't have a clue..
The entire evening, I was enraptured by your zing..

I said to myself, "Damn, she looks O so fine..!"
Twas not much later when I glanced at my watch,

Almost forced to steal a minute here, a couple there..
Didn't feel like it in the least, but I most certainly had to leave you..

Reluctantly, most certainly..
Perhaps, twas the toughest departures I could get past by..

Five months down the road,
In my dorm, here I lie.....
Hoping you'll come by, walking
The way you used to..
For I am hooked onto you!!
Hoping you'd pass me by and I'd nod and say hi.
