Ada Abilene. The new girl, who could make friends instantly. Looking at her supple, fit body, you couldn't guess she was to be the next Queen. She was bound to rule over this land.
Her movements were precise, and calculated, just like a royal's ought to be. She was graceful and noble, just as her name suggested. Her parents must have known that their baby would be adopted by her Highness, after her third miscarriage. She still went by her old name, not the one that is used in the formal proceedings. Abilene, meaning born where the grass grows. While it was certainly a handful to pronounce, it also suggested her humility and down to earth nature, something which her new surname, or name for that matter, didn't suggest.
Her new name, Adah Adibowale had just as much meaning to it. While Adah did seem like a different spelling for her first name, it actually meant beautiful scenery, after all, she was beautiful to look at. You could look at her for hours and never get tired. She was the second female crown bearer. With the same brown hair cascading down her back in waves, she was believed to be a reincarnation of the first female Crown.
Which is what probably led His Highness to think of her surname, Adibowale, which means return of the Crown.
All of the people had placed their hope in this yet-to-be-crowned Queen, hoping she would be as just as the woman who she is thought to be the re-incarnation of. She coming to study at this school, to learn what is befit for a royal, meant she would also learn to not talk to servants.
Which meant a bodyguard of her fourth lady-in-waiting, me, would have no chance of ever telling her of my love.
