She kicked the ball, making it bounce against the goalpost. The ball fell on the floor, trowing a little bit of snow on her shoes.
She sighed, thinking of the good old summer. She had cursed the winter enough to last a lifetime. Winter didn't allow The Goalie's Nightmare to play in the field, making her stay away from her hobby.
She heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see Jamie come towards her.
"Hey Liliana, wanna play soccer?"
She sighed again.
"I go by Lilith now."
"Did you know," she knew what was coming, " Lilith means night monster in Hebrew?"
"You finally did the research." Lilith replied, looking back the white and black ball lying.
"Wanna play soccer?" He repeated himself, holding her by her shoulders and turning her around.
"It is called football, not soccer," she said, pushing his hands away.
"Whatever. Do you want to play football?" He put emphasis on football, kicking the ball away.
"Ye..."The snow falling on her face interrupted her mid-sentence.
"No," she finally replied, taking out her and calling her brother.
"Hey," Jamie kept calling her, but not once did she turn back.
