So, this is a note I wrote for I'm a What (the sequel to this book) explaining why I discontinued the book, but I feel like I should publish it here as well. (Copy and pasted)
So, I've seen that some people are still quite confused as to why I discontinued this book, and I feel like I should give a better explanation.
Basically, I just had no idea where I was going with this. There were loads of plot holes and I didn't think it through.
An example of this is the fact that I forgot Ryker and Holly were cousins, so I was going to make them mates in the future.
I'm thinking of maybe rewriting both this book and Alpha's Luna.
Another reason is the lack of diversity. Ngl I wrote Alpha's Luna when I was 11 (I'm 14 now) and I wasn't that educated on anything and basically the book was just a bit of a flop. I'll most likely rewrite both books eventually, I'm just not sure when.
I still need to actually plan them both, as the two books were just things I made up as I went along.
