A Casual Encounter

Carmen's P. O. V.

I'm trying to get the stolen Magna Cartas back from Paper Star when I spot her starting to leave. Now I'm walking around the train cars when I walk into the one and only Chase Devineaux. He yells out "La femme rouge!" And follows me until I'm seated somewhere. He tries to put handcuffs on me but it's like he never learns that I'm too "elusive", as he likes to say. Instead I handcuff him to the seat so he can't leave. I continue to follow her until I see this really pretty girl sitting down by herself and I decide to sit with her until I can keep going after Paper Star. She looks up whenever I ask "Is this seat taken?" She says it is but that I can use it until her partner comes back. I'm immediately disappointed at that but then she quickly corrects herself to "I mean my travel partner." And then she gives me this look that looks really cute and it makes me want to ask her if she has a boyfriend or girlfriend even. She then introduces herself. "Julia. Nice to meet you." "So Jules, are you going to see the Taj Mahal?" She excitedly responds with " Oh I wish! The history is really amazing. Sadly I'm traveling on business." "Don't like your job, huh?" She says "No no I love my job! I guess I just love history even more." She then starts to blush a little and I really like it. But that's when Paper Star decides to get a move on and I have to go. 

Julia's P.O.V.

Agent Devineaux is currently traveling around the cars trying to see if he can find the "elusive" Carmen Sandiego when this cutie turns up and I immediately go from confident to barely being able to talk. I mean if you would see her you would know what I mean. She asks if she can sit here and I of course let her, at least until the inspector shows up, and then she looks disappointed when I tell her I'm with someone, until I correct myself and say "Travel partner" and then we have a good conversation until she has to leave and until after she leaves is when I realized who she was. It was Carmen Sandiego! I was face to face with her! And I thought she was cute and hot and all these mixed feelings! It shouldn't be possible to like the person we've been trying to catch for months now. I think I'll talk to the inspector about this whenever he comes back. Mostly because I always think that she isn't evil, but one of the good people who try to set the world right. The inspector doesn't listen to me but I still think that's what it is. This encounter with her makes me think that my theories about her might be true, but it might mean conducting an investigation of my own. I go and look for the inspector and that's when I find him handcuffed to a seat. When we return to our car we find a tube with the stolen Magna Cartas and I look out the window to see Carmen Sandiego walking away from the train. I sigh and hope that I can get a chance to talk with her soon. This only furthers my theories about her. I mean she returned the Magna Cartas, which means she wasn't the one who stole them. This is complicated, so I think I'll just talk to the inspector later. I just hope he listens to me for once...
