The car filled with deathly silence which was a bit comfortable. It made a sense of tiredness rise within me which was very odd. I hardly sleep...I can't sleep.

"You must be spoiled." He stated with a hard voice at a stoplight. I looked at him, drawn in by his profile image. With one arm on the steering wheel the other rested on his jaw. He skin shone in the loose sunlight and his dark curly hair swayed. He was practically sparkling.

But all the same, I wondered if the rumor was true.

"What makes you say that?" I asked.

"Oh c'mon you've been practically living off my parents, what girl wouldn't kill to be in your position."

"That's just because they don't know what lies within your family." I said causing him to glance my way.

"And what would that be?"

"The darkness." I said looking out the window. "Also, your parents hardly provide me with anything."

This caused a bitter laugh to fall out of his throat as he pulled in front of an abandoned shack.

"I bet you have the newest updated phone-'

"I've only owned a phone when I first moved in and Liam broke it-"

"The most expensive clothing-"

"Do you see what I'm wearing?-"

"You're provided with royalty above others-"

'No one respects me except a few guards and a maid-"

"You're protected by our home-"

"Not as long as I live with your family." I spat. The car grew silent. The sky was losing its light by this time as his stormy blue eyes settled on mine.

"And what exactly do you mean by that?" He asked coldly. I gulped feeling a sense of fear. I'm sure he couldn't see it on my face. I'm not sure if anyone could see many emotions laced in my expression.

"Didn't know there was someone who could see it." I heard him whisper under his breath. What did he mean... what did he know?

He ran a hand through his hair when his phone rang.

"Si mamma?" He asked.

(Yes Mom?)

"Nessuna mamma non ho visto i social media." he said with an annoyed accent.

(No Mom i haven't seen social media.)

"Cosa!?" He asked. I watched...For some odd reason I felt a pit in my stomach.

(What?!)

"Aspetta mamma check adesso." he said ending the call. He gave me a cold erie glance that made me gulp. I scratched at my neck feeling a pain in my chest.

(Hold on mom let me check.)

I looked at his phone with wide eyes...It was the picture..

"Get the hell out my car." He spat causing the feeling of dread to overwhelm me. As soon as I shut the door he sped off with a string of curses.

That picture...It was a picture of the time when Mason almost raped me...

My clothes were ripped in the picture. My shirt was torn off and i was in nothing but my underwear. In the picture...He was on top of me forcibly kissing me.. I remember it so clearly.

I flinched. The touch of the cold Rain. It was raining. I've never liked the rain, perhaps because it meant I'd have to stay inside the house with my brothers.
