"Can I buy you a drink, miss?" I turned around, an elegant and tall woman was looking at me. I wiggled around on the bar chair that I was sitting on and smiled at the girl next to me. "Sure, but it is mrs" I said and laughed awkwardly. The woman winked with her brown left eye and smiled gently at me. Her teeth where shiny white. "I know, i can see the ring" she said. I studied my ring finger and starrted twisting the ring around, my mind couldn't decide whetever i would take the drink or just go home. What if Angela suddenly came in to the pub and saw me there with this gorgeous and mature, blonde woman. Another part of me said that a drink could not do any harm, and my wife was at work. "I ordered a Margarita, you seem like the type to drink that" the woman said, i jumped back, i was in my own little mind bubble and she interrupted. "Actually i hardly drink anything else" I said and laughed. I stretched out my arm, "I'm Sarah, you?" The woman looked at me, her hair reflected the little amount of light wich made it look almost sparkling, "Grace, Grace Day" she said and smiled even more.
I took a large sip of my drink. Grace was drinking red wine, and her red lipstick had left marks on the glass. "So, does your wife have a name" she said. I looked down and started thinking, i could just leave. Put the sugar coated glass on the bench and walk out, but i didn't. I looked at Grace againg and replied to her question. "Angela" i said. Grace nodded in a I listen way. "How long have you been married?" I tried not to sound angry, but i think i did, "None of your business" i said. I quickly realised how i sounded and corrected myself, "I meant, you know, how about we talk about us and not my wife?" Grace smiled again and giggled, "That works".
After a few hours of talking and drinking i looked at the clock, it was late and Angela should already be home. "Grace, i have to leave" I said and looked at her, her smile disapeared and she almost looked disapointed, but still perfectly flawless. After so long her makeup still looked like it did when she stepped her slim legs in to the pub. "That's fine, hey will you call me later?" She looked hopefully at me. I nodded and smiled before I walked out, it felt so bad but yet so wondefull.
