Tristan and Trista watched from the doorway to the Tower, as Rollan and Essix tried to improve their bond.
It was really just Rollan shouting angry words at Essix, which would never help at all.
"Should I go give him some pointers?"
Trista asked, and Tristan chuckled quietly at her comments, and she was smiling, as Thunder flew around the Sunset Tower with Essix.
"Essix, to me!" Rollan called up to the Falcon, after whistling. "Essix, come!"
He shouted, and the stubborn Falcon just drifted through another lazy turn and Trista watched from a closer spot.
"Get down here! How hard is it to follow simple instructions? The quite dimmest kid, that I know could do that much without a problem!"
Rollan yelled, and Trista sighed, as Essix flew higher. "Speak gently to her as she is a companion, not a pet."
She said, and looked up at Thunder.
"Thunder. Here." Trista said, in a calm and soothing tone, and Thunder dives down, and flew around her, before on her shoulder she landed.
"Try a gentle tone." Trista said and he, meaning Rollan quickly nodded at her and was at least listening to her now.
"Gentle. Right." He said.
"Please, Essix. Olvan wants us both to learn to work as one." Rollan said and his tone was gentler, as Essix dove.
Rollan held up his arm where a glove was covering his hand and forearm as Essix alighted gently on his forearm.
"Good girl, you want to try the passive state? Want to become a mark now? I promise, on my arm?"
Rollan asked as Essix screeched loudly, a clear no for anyone to be able to hear.
Suddenly, the horns blew, and Tristan came out of the Tower with four other people behind him, and Trista moved to join them all.
A Greencloak rode in on a large charger warhorse, with a boy with a greencloak on one side, a wolf walked with him.
The girl next to him who could only be his sister, walked beside him, and she was accompanied by a Mountain lion, and as they walked in a such a perfectly synchronized way, they must be bonded.
"Silver!" Tristan said, smiling at the Euran girl. "All of you are here." The girl known as Silver said.
On the other side of the warhorse, was two people of Zhong. One, the older boy wore a Greencloak, and Rollan could see a snake, a real... a King Cobra around his shoulders.
The other one, was a girl, not much older then Rollan or the other boy, as she walked along, with a big panda slightly behind her.
The elder two Greencloaks went to join the others, and they all stood in a line, looking at the three of the four fallen.
"By the time we had found out where Uraza was, it was too late. We tried to get her back, but she was too far gone before we could pursue."
One of the two elder Niloan boys said, from where he stood next to Trista. "I understand. Did Zerif get to her?"
The man on a horse asked. "We believe so." The other Niloan said, and the eldest sighed.
"Then we much represent the Four Fallen. Even if there are only three of us. Now who are you?" The girl asked.
"Count how many there are of us Meilin." The Zhongese man said, and she looked at them.
"The long Forgotten Eight." She said, and Tristan nodded at her. "Oi. Go on already."
