Devaughn POV

It was something about Jacob ( Trevor ) that I liked. Honestly I'm surprised that happened, but it felt so right. The only problem was ... if I wanted Jacob , I had to let shanàe go...

I work as a line chef, which is dressing food, in a 3 star restaurant. The pay is pretty good and so is the energy, the only problem is my toxic boss, Shangela Peters. She literally wants people to work as if they have animosity towards each other. It's a good thing she comes in after I get off everyday I work cause I couldn't handle being on her shift.

" Hey dev , todays supposed to be a busy day. They're having the grand opening for that new upscale park they just finished. It opened up down the street so, we're gonna have people coming left and right. Just a heads up , I already let everyone else know too so you're good. " my supervisor, Mindy, said.

" Fasho , ima be on my A game today " I said with a side smile. I like my job , it may not be all that and bag of chips , but it keeps my bills paid.

Hours moved like minutes throughout the day. It was so busy, I didn't get a chance to take a break. But that didn't stop me, by the time I had finished , It was almost to time.

" G I'm beat , them people ain't play today " I said exhausted before finally sitting down.

" Man , I swear i thought my arm was gonna break from making all those shakes dude " my coworker said wiping his forehead with his forearm.

" Try dealing with a guest who wanted a discount because she said she waited 7 minutes for her food " Mindy said rolling her eyes and shaking her head while doing the deposit. Me and my coworker laughed and shook our heads. " Some people just a mess " I said going to clock out.

" Ight y'all, I'll see y'all Saturday, y'all stay blessed " I said giving them a slight wave and walking out to my car. I checked my phone and seen that Jacob texted me.

* 32 minutes ago *

Jake 🙂 : hey , you still at work? Can you come over after?

I smiled to myself and texted him back

Me : I just got off . Ima head yo way

Jake 🙂 : ok luv , front door open so you can walk in. We'll be right there in the living room waiting .

At that moment I pulled off, grabbed a mild from the store and went his way.

Trevor ( Jacob ) POV

The day was really chill since we didn't do much. Joi was talking about going clubbing all day so I guess that's what we'll be doing tonight.

" Girl , you doing all this talking about clubbing, do you even have something to wear " I said going through my closet to retrieve an outfit I recently bought.

" I'm always ready, why you think it took so long to get my clothes together " she said pulling out this 2 piece lace dress. It had sequined gold on the nipple and crotch areas. It was really cute. She pulled out these transparent pumps that had a black trim around the sole. My best friend didn't not play .

" Damn , look like you tryna catch some fathers tonight " I said checking out the fit.

" maybe some grandFAWTHAS too " she said pridefully before going to bathroom to beat her face.

" Aye bitch , do me first since my makeup gon be simple " I said following her to the bathroom. I just wanted my eyebrows done, just a touch of light pink eyeshadow done, and some lashes.

" you want me the mink strips or individuals " she asked. " Strips , taking those bitches off as soon as we leave " I said quickly.

She nodded and started on my eyeshadow first. I explained that I only wanted very light pink eyeshadow my my lash line and no eyeliner. I wanted a soft, but cute look. I even showed her a picture just so she knew what I meant.

About half an hour later, she was done with my face. All I needed was my lip gloss and to get dressed and I was set.

" Yass best, you got looking fine as fuck " I said admiring myself in the mirror , then walking out. " you know you gotta be looking right if you going out with me " she said slickly.

" girl hush, but I'm finna get ready " I said putting on my skims bodysuit. I really liked how the bodysuits fitted on Kim Kardashian so I ordered one. I finished the look off with some white socks and Dollskill sidewalk slayer platform sandals. I put in my small hoop earrings, put my gold bracelet on, and grabbed my shades. They were vintage style and half cut so they made my outfit pop more.

" You think devaughn and Marcus wanna come ? " Joi asked finishing her makeup then coming to my room. " I can text devaughn but ion got no way to contact Marcus " I said picking up my phone.

I texted him and got a text back a lil later saying that he'll be my way shortly. " Aye , devaughn just texted back , did you get ahold of Marcus ? " I said watching her finish putting on her heels, we were almost ready. " He said it sound like fun but he gotta be up early in the morning that's a no go with him " she explained touching up her makeup.

" Well , lets go wait downstairs til devaughn come " I said going downstairs. I sat down in the living room and Joi shortly joined me.
