💚~ Can this day get any worse? ~💚

School Uniform's POV

I jolt up in fright as I realize I only have 15 minutes until I'm late for the team meeting.

"Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoooooot!" I scramble trying to not be late

I rushed out the door and tried running to the elevator to catch it to not be as late but I missed it too... I stood there freaking out a little, no actually a lot. As soon as I saw those doors open I hopped on and didn't think twice, but while standing there I realized that my skirt was backwards and I had a short length sock with a long length one. Could this day get any worse?!?

Time skip to the train station

I was late and I wasn't even on a train cart or anything, but I let out a sigh of disappointment. I realized this was gonna be a pain for my team because they can't really start without me, but I knew Rider might start without me rather I or the rest of my team wanted to or not. A train pulled up going to inkopolis and I got on slightly embarrassed at how messily I dressed, but I kept calm and just sat down like it was nothing even though it was bothering me. I just looked at the time on my phone or just look at my phone's lock screen that was a picture of Bamboo Hat and I when we recently hung out.

Time skip off the train

Time flew by pretty slowly but as soon as it pulled in I got off and dashed to the square.

When I got to the square my teammates looked at me like I was some weirdo, on top of that the meeting was almost over, but at least Bamboo Hat gave me a warm hearted smile which made my heart melt. As soon as I felt a little relief Rider started to scold me "Why were you late today?!? This meeting was important, and not only that it's almost over, AND this is the second time in a row, what's been wrong with you lately?!?"

Stealth piped up to comment "Maybe we shouldn't be too harsh on her, afterall she is an inkling who makes mistakes like you and me."

"He has a point, you sho-" Bamboo was cut off by Rider then yelling

"ALRIGHT I GET IT!"

"Um I'll try not to be late anymore so you all stop arguing with each other."

"Tch."

Rider just looked away annoyed, but then we heard a familiar team, team blue which was causing a big ruckus and making lots of noise.

"HEY RIDER!"

My team and I turned around and looked to find Goggles yelling to get Rider's attention.

"Jesus Christ..." Rider mumbled

Goggles ran up and clung onto Rider's back as my teammates and I awkwardly stood there, but maybe just maybe I'll talk to Bamboo Hat more after this after all we're best friends. Maybe more? I'm not too sure. 

A/N I know this is short but I was too excited to post this and I really just wanted to post this because I've never seen a book dedicated to girl x girl for the splatoon manga so I went for one that I liked
