"Tonight let's get some, and live while we're young!" My phone rang out loud. I woke up and sighed. I am never going to meet the band of my dreams..
I hopped outta bed and went to shower and stuff. When I was dressed and ready for the day I waltzed into the kitchen and saw another note from mom.
"Avery, today is Monday. Don't forget, after school you have practice from 4-6, then you have to babysit the kids from 6:30-7. After that, you have piano lessons from 7:15-9. When you get home shower and do your homework. Love you." Read the note. Ugh. This is my daily basis. I get ready, the house is empty, a find the note, and do what it says. I hate it. I am the oldest of 7 kids and my mom expects me to do all of this. Not to mention I'm in Honor's and I'm the vice president of our class.
Sometimes I hate my life. After I ate a waffle or two, I started walking towards the school. Even at school I cant hang out with my friends. I'm either at meetings or getting stuff ready. When I walked in, 1/3 of our little triad (group of friends) Tommy came over. "Avery, you have ASB meeting today." He said.
I sighed. "Thanks Tommy." I said looking down. "I'll walk with you." He offered. "Okay." I replied, feeling down. "What wrong?" He asked. He doesn't know what I go through yet. Maybe I should tell him. "My mom. She has me doing everything around the house while my other siblings just sit there and don't offer to do jack!" I snapped at him. I didn't mean to, and he knows that, I just need to get my anger out. "Oh. Sorry to hear that. But it's senior year, live a little." He persuaded. "Tommy, I have six sibllings, I'm the vice president, captain of the volleyball team, a freaking babysitter, and I have piano lessons. Not to mention I have to be in church choir. So when your plate is full of shit you don't wanna do then talk to me." I say walking into the ASB room. Gosh I hate this shit.
"Okay guys let's get started." Melanie, our class president stated. "So homecoming is coming up and we need a band." She started out. Our school is one of the rich schools so we book celebrities. Like my freshman year, they had Katy Perry. See what I mean? I would love to vote One Direction, but there are haters and lover's and I don't wanna start World War Three. "How bout Justin Bieber?" Sarah, our treasurer asked. Gosh this girl is a total Belieber. I rolled my eyes at her. "No, he's getting really old, and I'm almost positive the girls will be over him than dancing with their dates." Said Melanie. "Oo! I choose One Direction!" Piper chirped. She was the secratary. Dear Lord... "I like that idea!" Melanie said. "I second that." I spoke up. "What?! Are you kidding me?! You would rather see five gay fags than a sex God himself?!" Sarah protested. Here we go again! I rolled my eyes at her. "Yes. And they're not gay fags. But neither is Justin so unless you want me to start badmouthing him shut it." Melanie warned. She shut up right away. "So how much would these boys cost?" I asked. "Uhh I think it's £21000 or something like that." Piper said like it was nothing. "In case you forgot Piper, we live in America, not the United Kingdom so unless you can bring in some money from the UK we can't book them. Sorry. But I will keep that in mind." Melanie concluded. And right as we finished the meeting, the bell rang for first period if the day. I sighed. I'm a teacher's aide first period, and the teacher I have is our choir teacher, and her first period is the boys choir. I trudged to the choir room and sat down near the boys. This is gonna be a long day...
