Nothing was more frightening than being alone and lost in a forest, Meg Thomas knew the hiking trail she was going to follow but she had somehow gotten off track. She stumbled through some bushes and into a grassy plain just as she heard something whiss by her ear, taking off some skin from the cartalidge. She cried out and looked around, she was surrounded by bow weilding bandits, she could only assume. She sprinted past the field as arrow after arrow zoomed by her, a few planted themselves into the ground by her feet and she tripped, hitting the ground but she was able to recover and stand again, running for the treeline. She made it there and a good twenty feet into the trees before she felt an arrow pirce her ankle. She screamed and fell once more, the ground was tough below her as she tried to get up. She turned and grabbed it, pulling it back out of her ankle with a loud screaming roar. Scrambling to her feet once more, she felt one impale itself into her left arm but she kept moving; limping at top speed to try and get away.
She wasn't quick enough as she felt another plank her in the back. She cried out and leaned against a tree, another one hit her in the hand; holding it in the tree she was holding. Blood poured from each of her wounds, she screamed as she broke the arrow in her hand and pulled it out. She kept moving, not as fast but still trying to get away, taking tricky turns around trees and hearing a few arrows stab into the hard bark of each tree she passed. They still knew where she was even though she was trying to juke them all out, she tried to hold her breath as she hid down behind a rock. It was dark, maybe they wouldn't notice her. She covered her mouth as she saw one of them jump down in front of her and jog in that direction.
She couldn't close her eyes in fear one would appear but as soon as she though she was safe she stood and pulled herself back over the rock. She pulled the arrow out of her back with a victorious smile. She tossed it aside with a smile before pulling one out of her arm, she grinned in relief before hearing the suddenly familiar sound of something fast, very fast.  Blood spat from her mouth as pain spread through her body, an arrow has pirced her heart and stopped it for good.
