ECHO walked into Tyler's backyard, her mouth hanging open in shock. There was probably more than a hundred people here, most of them looking like they didn't belong in high school.
She was wearing a black dress that showed off her cleavage, but instead of wearing heels, she wore a new pair of combat boots that Damon had gotten her.
Looking out into the crowd, Echo tried to find someone she knew, she even found herself looking for Rebekah who had been so excited for the dance. But, she frowned when she saw no one she knew.
Her stomach twisted into knots and her brain was sending off red alerts. But since she was wanting this to be a normal night, she ignored the feelings, and fully walked into the open backyard.
As the band quitened down, she looked towards the stage. "Good evening everyone one!" Echo opened her mouth in surprise before shaking her head. Klaus was now on stage and said, I want to thank you all for being here with me to celebrate. It's been a long time coming."
And just like that, he walked off the stage, and the band started playing again, but Echo kept her eyes on Klaus as he approached her with a smirk on his lips.
"Hello, love." Klaus smirked down at her. "Would you like to dance?" He asked her as one of her favorite songs began to play.
Bitterly, she answered with a sarcastic look on her face, "No, in fact, I would rather rip ny own throat out, literally." She turned her back, trying to walk away when he grabbed her arm spinning her around to face him. "Bad move," She spat. "You touch me again and I'll shove my hand into your mouth and rip out your tongue."
Klaus chuckled at her. "Just as much fire as I remember. It is truly amusing to see you act like this, but you know, your no match for me."
And before Echo could even think about threatening him again, his larger hand grabbed her smaller one, and whisked her off onto the dance floor. His free hand snaked around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
"Has anyone told you how ravishing you look in that dress?" He asked, his eyes taking in her form.
Echo smirked up at him. "What are you doing here, Klaus?"
"Wait, you don't know?" He asked, his hands that held her loosened a bit, he stared at her with narrowed eyes.
"Know what?" She questioned, confused.
"You didn't help dagger Mikael?" Klaus asked, his eyes turning darker as the seconds went by.
Echo took a small step back, shaking her head. "I honestly don't know what you're talking about. The past couple of days, I've been hanging out with Caroline, shopping, and trying to set up the dance. You can see how well that went," she sarcastically said and then sighed. "The closet I got to your psychotic father was his name engraved in a cave. That's all."
