"YOU think she'll like it?" Echo asked Elena as they decorated their blonde friends locker.
The older doppelgänger nodded, looking at their work so far, telling her softly, "She'll love it."
Echo nodded and said, "I just want it to be perfect. She's been through a lot lately, and I want to see her smile. She has a beautiful smile."
Bonnie, who was late, walked up to them. "Hey, sorry I'm late, I... I got held up."
As she spoke, Echo noticed how she didn't really explain where she had been after a second of hesitation. She narrowed her brown eyes and stared at the witch in suspicion.
"It's okay," Elena told her, smiling. "We just got here, too. Could you pass me the balloons?" Bonnie did we told and Elena said, Thank's."
"Why are you running late?" Echo immediately asked, her eyes narrowed.
Bonnie quickly made up a story saying, "I was working on some new spells. You?"
"Working with Alaric," Elena answered for them. "So, I have something I need to tell you, and you're not gonna like it."
Bonnie pushed her hair back before asking, "What happened?"
Elena looked at her, knowing she wasn't going to like the news she was giving her. "Jeremy is gonna be living town for a while. He will stay with old family friend in Denver, until Klaus will blow over."
"Jeremy wouldn't just leave you deal with Klaus on your own," Bonnie pointed out, frowning in confusion.
Elena nodded, and explained, "I know, I asked Damon to compel him."
"You what?!" Bonnie snapped before looking towards Echo who shrugged. "I can't believe you!"
Elena sighed. "I know, Bonnie. But it's not safe here for him anymore. Leaving will give him a better life. The only reason I'm telling you is because I know that you two haven't really worked out on your stuff. And I thought maybe you'd wanna say goodbye."
THE twins and their two friends stood lying in wait for Caroline in her house. After awhile. they heard the door open and shut.
Jumping out from hiding, they yelled, "Happy birthday!" As loud as they could.
Caroline jumped slightly in surprise. "What are you guys doing here?"
