Frostpaw padded into the medicine den, exhausted. She may be the medicine cat apprentice, but that didn’t mean she didn’t work as hard as all the other apprentices that were training to be warriors. She sighed as she practically fell into her small nest in the corner, and fell asleep almost immediately.

Frostpaw woke up inside a large, bright field. ‘What is this? Am I dreaming?’ She thought to herself. If she was dreaming, this had to be StarClan. The pure white she-cat looked around wildly. Was some cat going to come and talk to her? Had she done something wrong? Was she going to be denounced as medicine cat apprentice?! The questions flew in and out of her head and she sat down. If some cat was going to come, she hoped it would be soon.
Frostpaw hadn’t been sitting for long when she saw a cat coming closer to her. ‘Is this the cat I need to talk to? Is this why I’m in StarClan?’ The apprentice stood quickly as the cat got nearer. When the unfamiliar cat was only a few tail-lengths away, Frostpaw could see that it was completely black except for bright white specks that looked like stars. “I am Star that Falls Through Night Sky, and I am here to tell you something very important.”
Frostpaw watched the cat who had just introduced herself. She had a much longer name than clan cats, so Frostpaw assumed this cat wasn’t a part of a clan. Frostpaw continued to think of questions and their answers rapidly before the she-cat began to speak again. “I am not of your clans. I am from the mountains, far off where the sun rises. I am from a tribe of cats who are similar to your clans, and I am here to give you a prophecy.” Frostpaw’s eyes widened. She had been chosen to be given a prophecy. Even Fallenwing hadn’t been given a prophecy in all the time he had been medicine cat!
The tribe cat gave Frostpaw no time to think and began again, “Two from each clan shall follow the rising sun on the first sunrise of the cold season to save falling leaves from never rising.”  Frostpaw opened her mouth to question the tribe cat, but as soon as she began to speak everything went black.
Frostpaw jerked herself awake and sat up to see that soft morning light was filtering into the medicine den. She had slept through the whole night. She stood quickly, “Fallenwing! I need you! Please wake up!” She called and ran to go find her mentor.
