NICK'S POV

As soon as the nurse leaves, Pri turns to me

"So you were just being a drama queen... as always" she playfully punches my arm

"You scared me!" I grab her and pull her closer to me

"Will you accept a friendly apology?" I stare into her eyes, they glisten. Brighter than anything i've ever seen. I want to kiss her. I need to kiss her. In the chill of the moment, i feel as though she feels the same way. I close my eyes and lean forward... and the door bursts open

"Pri! I came as soon as heard!"

"Megan? What are you doing here?"

"Well i went to Mandy today cause i got a bee sting and i needed more cream for it-"

"Megan"

"Sorry, well anyways she said you rushed to the hospital," Pri laughs, she says her laugh is ugly and annoying, I think it's like a song

"Megan, i was rushing NICK to the hospital"

"What? I drove all the way up here for that? What a rip"

"Hey!" I throw my hands in the air in protest

"Why did you need to be rushed to the hospital?"

"A cut got infected"

"But, as always, he was being over dramatic," she says. I cross my arms, annoyed

"Whatever... lets just go back to camp"

Once we get back to camp, Mandy administers the antibiotics that was issued to me by the doctor

"Come back here every morning at 7:30 and every night at 7:30, got it?" I nod and make my way back to the cabin

My boss said I could take today off and Annabelle could lead music, so im going back to my cabin to work on the song. And of course count down the minutes until Pri is on break

G string A string strum, G string A string strum, G string A string strum. The tune is coming along! As I continue to brainstorm lyrics, things I love about her and maybe how i feel about her, my phone rings

"Hello?"

"Yo nick, you good bro? Mandy called and said you went to the hospital"

"Yeah im fine, my cut got infected that's all. Hey listen to this" G string A string strum, G string A string strum, G string A string strum

"Thats a nice tune but i think its missing something"

"What?"

"Words"

"Im working on it Kevin, but words don't come easy without a melody" i say with a growl

"Woah dude, chill. You really like this girl don't you?"

"Yeah, i do"

"Is she hot?"

"Kevin! Of course she's hot bro"

"Just making sure.. Coming! I gotta go, Riley peed on the carpet again"

I place my fingers on the strings of my guitar, and promptly bang my head on the wall

I have a week to make this... it was so much easier when I was writing for a kids movie. And the best part? 'Introducing me' was romantic in its own way
