SUMMER CAMP. THE PLACE WHERE YOU'RE supposed to make friends and memories that will "last a lifetime". some kids believe it, others don't, but can you blame them? imagine being able to just shut off from the rest of the world and relax for two months. impossible right? wrong. no cell phones, no social media, no service, nothing. not here. whilst to some, this might sound great, to others, it was like a living hell.۟⋆⋅ Julianna ۟⋆⋅
"SUMMER WHAT!" the brunette screamed at the top of her lungs to her mother. currently stopped in-front of Princeton Prep, the private school of Millwood, Julianna and her mother, Katie, were sat in the back of their black limousine that she had specifically requested to be dropped off in on the last day of sophomore year. she wanted to make a lasting impression seen as she wouldn't see these people for two months. not that she needed to though, everyone already knew that she was the richest girl in school and a force to be reckoned with. she did what she wanted when she wanted and if you had a problem with it then you'd have to face her father. Billy "the businessman" LeBlanc. you don't want to go there. their family owned just about everything that mattered in Millwood. she was a party girl who didn't care about hiding the amount of money she had.
"summer camp, it'll be good for you" her mother pleaded, she was clearly scared of her daughter when she acted like this. but can you blame her? she was a spoiled drama queen and that's being nice.
"what'll be good for me is spending the summer here with my friends, I'm not going" she exclaimed, rolling her eyes and scoffing at her mother in the process.
"you're going and that's final, don't try and change my mind. you leave tomorrow morning" Katie pushed back.
"This is so not fair!" Julianna spat before storming out of the car and slamming the door. she strutted up to the school, her handbag on her arm and her heels clicking with every step.
her two best friends, Lilia and Emily, stood waiting on her at the front entrance just like they have everyday for the past two years. they too were rich, but not on the level of Julianna.
"happy last day of school girls! who is ready for the best summer ever?!" Lilia smiles brightly as she spoke. Emily replied with a matching smile and they both turned to Julianna and were met with a bored look. it was partly because she was still enraged about being shipped away all summer but also because she knew that there was clearly chemistry between them but neither would admit it.
"well while you two have fun all summer, I'm being shipped off to summer camp" she said, fake gagging. both girls looked horrified but Emily quickly tried to brighten the mood.
"I'm sure it won't be that bad, I mean think of all the cute guys! and I'm having to go to Mexico! how terrible is that!" the blonde haired girl exclaimed trying to sound annoyed but secretly she knew that there was no way she wasn't going to enjoy her tropical vacation.
"at least you're not spending the summer before junior year in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of weirdos!" Julianna rolled her eyes and pushed open the door to head inside of the old brick building.
just like magic, the people parted and there was a perfect path for Julianna to walk down with her two friends following close behind. being popular has its perks. she strutted to her locker as everyone gazed in awe like she was a princess. she got the books she needed and patiently waited on the bell to ring, chatting with her friends. the same thought running through her mind what the hell am I going to wear tomorrow.
