~ Chanel P.O.V~

I don't know which pain is worse. The pain i'm feeling or Amarni's current facial expression. His face was clenched , every single muscle was tensed to its maximum. My contractions were getting more painful, becoming harder to bear. I didnt want him to focus on that, right now he needs to focus on me.

" Forget about him Amarni. I need you right now." He snapped out of his quick trance and softened his expression.

" I feel anger towards him too, but right now that's not important.. Oww." I tried to sit up but the pain pulled me back down.

" You're right." He mumbled, looking down then slowly looking into my eyes.

" I've got everything i need right here." I rubbed my stomach with his warm hand.

" You lot make me cringe." I heard Mummy Felecia say, i forgot that she was here you know. I tried to laugh at her remark, but it was only making it worse.

" Whatever." Amarni said to his mum.

I felt the van park up in the hospital car park. I felt anxious and scared. I've never done this before and the way Layla was screaming had got me feeling nervous about whats to come.

I was carried onto this wheel chair thing and Amarni wheeled me into the bright lighted hospital. I started to feel faint.

" Chanel breathe." Mummy Felecia said. I did as she told me to with her doing it in sync with me.

The doctor escorted us to the birthing room. I was helped onto the hospital bed and i clutched onto my stomach as the contractions kicked in harder and more rapidly.

" I cant do this." I whispered to Amarni.

" Yes you can." His brown orbs gave me reassurance. I am going to be mother. Me? Who would of thought that my life would unfold beautifully like this. The days when i hated the world now i love every second of it.

" Alright Miss Parker, i'm going to check you and your baby's health." The Doctor smiled. She put the fetoscope on my stomach and began listening to the heartbeat. But she froze.

" Is everything ok?" Amarni's deep voice rumbled. Her stiffened body alarmed me. I started to feel nervous.

" Yes.. Sorry i've been told i have a stiffened concentration face." She giggled awkwardly. She better control her stiffing face. Can't be making me nervous like this.

" The baby is fine." She smiled again. I felt relieved abit, although the contractions were hurting.

" Praise the lord." Mummy Felecia rejoiced.

Amarni held my arm whispering sweet things into my ear as mummy Felecia rubbed my tummy in circular motions. I could feel my hormones going crazy inside of me, but i decided to close my eyes and take my mind off of it.

" Are you having a natural birth?" The doctor asked. She was checking how dilated i was.

" Yes." We all said in unison. The punching pain was increasing becoming harder to bear, breathe.Chan breathe.

" You are 6cm dilated hun." She said. I wanted to cry, i thought i was nearly there. I want to push !

" So i can't push?" I asked teary eyed.

" Not yet." She answered.

" Arghhhhh ! "

" Should i get you some water babe?" Amarni asked.

" Yes." I gritted. He went and came back with cold water that instantly soothed my insides.
