Aqua, Terra, and Ven walked out of the castle set on The Land of Departure and looked up at the sky.
The stars were falling swiftly and Ven started wishing.
Aqua looked over. "What are you wishing for, Ven?" She asked, her voice soft.
Ven looked over and grinned. "Can't tell. But I hope it comes true."
Terra looked at Aqua. "Me too." He said, almost passionately.
Ven frowned and Aqua sighed. "Ven. I guess I'd better tell you this. I'm reopening the Land Of Departure for the public. Terra and I will rule it."
Ven's mind seemed to shut down. "W....what?!" He stammered. "But....what about us? The trio? What happens to me?"
Terra put a strong hand on Ven's shoulder. "Ven," He said, his voice strong. "Your going to help. But you'll need to train to become a Master Keyblade Wielder. Once your a master, you'll help us rule here."
Ven lowered his head. "Okay." He whispered.
Aqua nodded and walked off the mountain, Terra close behind her. Ven stayed on the mountain, and two small tears fell down his face. "Now...my wish can't come true," Ven whispered. "I wished we could all be together. Forever."

Somewhere else...
"Why is this child circled in red?" A figure asked, her fox mask glittering with a light frost.
"Because," the other figure said, his black coat moving in a unseen wind. "Someday, I want this kid to be the one to inherit the Book of Prophecy. And that day is now."

Ven stood on the mountain for almost another hour before he was calm enough to return to the castle. As he began turning away from the falling stars, one caught his eye. It was brighter and slightly green, his lucky colour.
"What the...?" Ven asked, before diving out of the way as the "star" crashed onto the top of the mountain.
Ven coughed on the dust and smoke as he raised his head. Walking over, Ven saw a small meteor, cracked right down the middle. "Huh. Don't see that everyday." Ven said, looking inside. A small book, about the size of one of Merlin's storybooks, sat inside, perfectly fine. Picking up the book, Ven felt a strong power pulse from its pages.
".... I'd better give this to Aqua. She'd know what to do..." Ven said, before a page in the book glowed gold.
Ven flipped to the page and read it.
"Ven took the book to Aqua and she locked it away forever and Ven never saw it again."
Ven blinked. "Now that's strange," He closed the book. "But Aqua wouldn't do that, even if this book says so."
'Or would she?' He thought, frowning. Already he'd been let out of one loop and been quite surprised.
"Alright. You'll hide with me for now. But if anything goes wrong, your garbage." Ven told the book, feeling a little bit silly talking to a book. The book only briefly flashed its pages before returning to normal.
So, Ven returned to the castle and hid the book in his new knapsack, before preparing for his leave.

Ven woke up before Aqua and Terra, and left a note to say he'd left early for Merlin's before activating his Kyblade Armor. Throwing his Keyblade up, it became a glider and Ven jumped on.
"Ven."
Ven spun around. Aqua stood on the lawn, her eyes on him. "You were going to leave without a good-bye?" She asked, stepping closer.
Ven jumped down and took his helmet off. "I was thinking of it." He replied, still hurt from the night before.
Aqua shook his head. "Your going to be fine, Ven. But you can't leave without our gift." She pulled a small gift out and handed it to Ven, who opened it. Inside, sat a Wayfinder, this one three colours. Orange, green, and blue. Ven looked up at Aqua. "What's this for?" He asked.
"To remind you that we're always together," Aqua said, hugging Ven. "Please be carful."
Ven broke away from the hug. "I will." Placing his helmet back on, Ven jumped onto his glider and flew off to a Lane Between Worlds, never looking back.
