Duality of the Heart.

Chapter 8

Naminé fallowed Xion up and fired a Blizzard down at the lava. "I can slow it down," she said. "But it's still flowing too fast to stop."
   Xion frowned, her fingers slipping around the manacles that Roxas hung from. "Don't worry. Just seal that book." She said, injecting Roxas with the liquid antidote.
    Naminé nodded and pointed Blooming Hope at The Book Of Prophecy. A white and black key lock appeared on it and Naminé fired a shot of magic into it.

Axel and Luxu faced each other, their Keyblades raised. "You were a good player," Luxu said. "But I'm better."
Quickly he fired off a Fire and Wind, scattering embers at Axel. Eternal Flame lit them up and fired them into the lava. "Really?" Axel asked, his own Fire blasting into Luxu.  "Because there's a better player them both of us. The Gambler."
     Luxu laughed, his Keyblade killing off Axel's fire. "Really? I thought I took care of him. Hmmm. Once I'm done with you, I'll kill him!" His black boot slammed into Axel's middle, sending him skidding down the walk-way, Eternal Flame vanishing. Axel winced as blood dripped down his mouth and put a hand to his center. "Your....stronger.....then....I remember...." He voice faded away and Axel slumped into sleep.
     Luxu walked in front of Axel and raised his Keyblade. "And you were dumber then you look." He pierced Axel and a scream was torn from Isa's lungs. "Axel!"
Luxu was thrown back as a blue Keyblade was thrown as him. As Isa stood in front of Luxu, Xion, Naminé, Ven, and Roxas joined him.
Luxu raised his Keyblade but just as the Guardians of Light were going to attack, Luxu vanished in a Dark Corridor.
Xion slammed her Keyblade into the ground. "Luxu!!!"

Master Yen Sid looked down on the 4 Guardians of Light, Isa, and the two fallen Keyblade wielders. "I'm very disappointed in two of you," he said to Xion and Naminé.
"No one is to intrude in a Mark Of Mastery, but with your intrusion, we've learned that Xulu is Luxu, one of the Keyblade Masters of old. Ava as well."
Xion and Naminé bowed their heads and Yen Sid looked at Aqua. "And you helped them enter the Exam,"
Aqua keep't her head upright. "Yes. Because it concerned my friends and brother."
Ven, who was still weak, leaned on Terra's strong shoulder. He managed to grin at Aqua. "Thanks."
"As for Isa," Yen asks continued. "I commend your strength and Keyblade wielding to protect your friend,"
Isa nodded. Yen Sid looked at Roxas, Xion, and Axel. "Your friendships have saved all of your lives. All of you will return to Merlin's training glade and compleat your training. Aqua, Terra." He nodded and the two left, leaving Ven to compleat his training. In his hand, a Wayfinder sat, coloured green, blue, and orange.

Luxu fell though the Dark Corridor, laughing. "The fools!" He said. "The fools they are! Those masks are too powerful to ignore," He sat on a white chair and looked around. Four other chairs were occupied by the other Foretellers; Aced, Gula, Invi, and Ira. All had a dark aura around them and the eyes of their masks were no longer yellow, but a red.
Ira frowned at Luxu. "Your plan appears to have failed. They were more powerful then your masks."
Luxu smiled. "Are they?" Waving a hand, Luxu pulled up a viewing ball, revealing Axel. The red head was tired and still fighting the effects of the Fire Fox mask.
Gula looked down. "Why a fox? Ava is still the Fox Foreteller."
"Ah," Luxu said. "But is she? I gave her her mask back and memories, but she has the choice to take that mask off and continue to live as a Guardian of Light."
Aced adjusted his arms, uncrossing them. "So, the remains of the mask will continue to affect Lea, even though he managed to break it?"
Luxu nodded, as Invi changed the view, to Naminé. "A Snow Leopard was an perfect choice for Naminé. Will she be able to fight its affects?"
"Eternal Flame cut though her mask, cleanly I might add, but it remained on for the amount of time," Luxu said. "It should continue to affect her."
Ira turned the view and focused on Ven and Roxas. "These two are still under the power of the Book Of Prophecy?" He asked, turning to Luxu.
"Yes. Locking the Book may have locked it's power away for now but it will affect them again."
