middle night terrors

Mike woke to hear Will stirring in his sleep, he was mumbling as he started to kick and tears streamed down his cheeks. Mike jumped up hovering over him as he shook his shoulders, Will shot up and looked around the room frightened until his eyes met back with Mike's face.
"Its just a dream, you're okay" Mike comforted Will, Will let more tears fill his eyes as he rubbed them. Mike pulled Will into his lap and cradled him as he spoke softly to him, Will's breathing started to slow down as he let his head rest on Mikes chest.
"Its okay, I got you Will" Mike whispered to Will who was still shaking, Will nodded and felt around for Mikes hand. Mike felt Will grab his hand tightly as his shaking turned into smaller tremors, Mike rocked Will gently as he held onto Mike tightly. Will felt comfort in Mikes lap, he'd calmed down mostly but was left squirming. Mike continued to rock him as he hummed, Will tried to get up but Mike held onto him. "Where are you trying to go?" Mike asked him quietly, Will shrugged nuzzling his head into Mikes neck as he blushed with mumbles.
"Use your words, baby." Mike spoke softly, Will Nuzzled in closer as he talked slowly.
"B-bathroom.. P-please" Will stuttered out as he shifted his hips while he looked up at Mike, Mike let go of Will to let him go. Will got up and stood beside the bed as he looked at Mike while he shifted around on the spot, Mike pointed to the bathroom.
"Hurry go now" Mike said nudging him, Will frowned and stood shaking as he bounced softly on the top of his feet. "N-no, come please Mike I'm scared, its dark" Will said as he pulled at Mike to hurry up, Mike got up and held onto Wills hand as he walked in front of him to turn the bathroom light on. Mike nudged Will into the bathroom, Will put his hand in the door to stop it from closing all the way as he desperately looked at Mike.
"Please stay here, don't leave" Will pleaded with a whine in his voice. Mike nodded, as he left the door open a little. Mike turned around as if he was guarding the door for him, Will came back wiping his wet hands on his sweater. Mike pulled him back to bed, Mike let Will cuddle into him for the rest of the night as he rubbed his back and spoke comforting words to him, Will rested with ease for a couple of hours till he woke up mumbling.
"What's that baby?" Mike asked as he shook him a little to help wake him, Will spoke softly. "Thirsty" he said as he started to cough, he tried to cover his mouth to stop it so he didn't wake the others. Mike quickly got up and got Will a glass of water from the bathroom tap, Mike gently passed it to Will as he grabbed it with two hands shaking. Will drank quickly and coughed as he drank, Mike grabbed the glass pulling it away from Will slightly.
"Slowly Will, slowly" Mike told him, Will softly nodded as he finished the water off. The coughing subsided, Mike put the glass on the bedside table and pulled Will into his lap.
"Okay, sleep now love. I'll look after you promise, sleep" Mike said as he gently cradled the petite boy in his arms, Will nodded and closed his eyes as he slowly dosed off again.
