I smiled and took another photo with a subscriber as they thanked me and walked back off to their friends, showing it off. It just felt oddly nice that people would pay money to come to just meet you.
Today before I set up my stuff I got to meet some of my favorite youtubers; Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, and even Pewdiepie. (Sorry if those aren't your favorite, just the first people that came to mind that weren't Danplan.)
I watched as another person came up and greeted me. "Hello!" I smiled at them. "What's you're name?"
"I-I'm (Random/Name)." The person smiled nervously back and I smiled more. "It's nice to meet you, (Random/Name). Here, you were my 1,000 visitor, so you get two free pieces of merchandise!" I pulled up a metal water bottle with my signature on it, along with a hoodie with my logo on it. The person beamed.
"Wow, really?! Thank you so much! Can I take a picture with you?" The person questioned and I nodded happily, taking a picture as they said their good-byes and ran over to their friends again.
I smiled at their excitement and turned back around and checked my phone quickly.
"Oh holy crap!" I heard someone exclaim. "Dude! It's (Channel Name)!"
"Oh, isn't that like, your youtube crush?" I voice questioned.
"Shut it, I'm going to meet her."
I glanced up and saw a guy with a purple sophisticated (Type of mohawk, search it up.) mohawk..
Wait, holy shit. That's Stephan from Danplan!
"Oh wow, your Stephan, right? From Danplan?" I immediately questioned and the guy nodded. "Yeah.. you know me?!"
"Yeah, and you know me?" I questioned in disbelief. He nodded happily. "Well, yeah! You're like, my favorite youtuber!"
I smiled at that. "As to you, too!"
"Hey," He started and put his elbows on the table. "Maybe you would like to come over and do a collab? Me and the group rented an apartment for the week."
I smiled brightly. "Wow, honestly?"
He nodded happily. "Yeah! Here's my phone number, call me when you're done with this!" He smiled at me, handing me a small piece of paper.
I grabbed the paper and smiled with a nod. "Okay, will do! See you later, Stephan." I smiled with a wave as he waved back, walking away. I suddenly realized something. "Oh! Stephan! Wait a moment!"
He paused as I grabbed a hoodie merchandise and walked over to him, then handed it to him. "Here! You can have this!" I handed it to him and he smiled largely. "Oh, thank you, Y/N! I don't have any of mine on me, I'll give some to you when you come over!"
"Oh, you don't have to." I smiled and waved my hand, but he shook his head. "I insist! They're really comfy. Anyway, see ya!" He waved and I waved back as I walked to my stand and he walked to his friends.
I sat back down at my stand, talked to a couple of more fans, but I couldn't stop thinking about Stephan, and how he said I was his youtuber crush. Sure, I didn't talk to him about it, but I definitely was internally freaking out.
My session closed for today and I got up, packed all of my stuff back up, and walked out of the Vidcon building to call Stephan. He almost immediately picked up.
"Oh! That was quick!" I giggled slightly and Stephan laughed.
"I guess! Anywho, we're at the apartment at the corner of (Street name) and (Street name)! 3rd floor, room 69." I could hear his smirk from phone.
